Still not scoring much, but making a difference in numerous ways. He did have his first 20 point game earlier this year. http://www.phenomhoopreport.com/news_article/show/726225?...

Amen to that. And he seems like he's a grounded type of kid if you follow his Twitter posts. Team-first guy who does all the right things. Next year he will not have to come in and be a world beater. With Jaaron, Gavin, Darty and Carter back along with Culver, Laster, DT and a year stronger Gollon, he will be perfectly suited to back up Jaaron.

Zach leads Dorman to a 53-52 in at Wade Hampton on December 13. He scored 22 points.

Love this picture. Love his positive tweets. This kid is blowing up and he's staying committed to Us. I think he, Gareri and Vander Plas will be instant impact kids next year and for the better. I know Tone will be a huge loss but DT can pick up some slack. Wadly was biding is his time and I will PROMISE that Gareri will impact the team more than Kenny. Kenny is great at what he does but Gareri will board!

Ohio Commit Zach Butler finished with 26pts 7reb 5ast. Easy work in today's game for Butler here at FBI Classic. He averaged 18 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists throughout the tournament. There was some major talent there,, they crushed a team with an Alabama commit. Zion Williamson and other Kentucky recruits were there as well. They lost to a school called Keenan who is number 2 in Michigan 48-45, they beat Alabama Pelham 65-39 then lost to Bullis Maryland 60-57.

Going with my son to see Bullis play tomorrow night against St. Albans(DC). Bullis has a 7'5" guy, aptly named Watara Mountari. He's a project to say the least.

Was thinking the same thing. He looks like he's about 40 facially and moves like he's 60.

Zach has been selected to play in the Carolinas All-Star Classic, a game between the best in North Carolina and South Carolina. Can't find when this year's game is, but last year's was mid-late March.

Butler was named to the South Carolina Class 5A All-State team today. Zach's Dorman High School carries the number 1 seed into the SC 5A playoffs which get underway today.

The schools website says they have 2,420 students. Sounds like a large school to me.

Interesting that they are already to the South Carolina State semis. Maryland playoffs don't even start until Friday and I believe Ohio is even after that.

Dorman beat Gafney 67-51 and goes to the Championship game friday night at 8:30. Zach had 11 points. 5A is the biggest division in South Carolina and Dorman is one of the biggest schools in the state.
