Here's a question: what is the percentage that newly incoming BIGS actually make a meaningful impact during their freshmen season in Ohio history? They all can't be Leon or Brandon. There is a higher learning curve for big men, mostly because they now are going against guys their size every night, as opposed to every 10-12 games, only tournament games, or sometimes never.
I would alter that question and ask how many true freshmen 6'10'' or taller made a significant impact in the MAC that year? Zeke Marshall, James Thompson, who else?
Basically, if a guy that big is good enough to contribute immediately, it's rare that they end up in the MAC.
