Lurker....sharp observation about how good scouting makes it tough on a player who is one handed. I'm sure the Boals staff will address this with Miles. I am excited about what he projects to be over his career.

Video from a game where he scored 48. Arkley says he averaged 33 ppg. I wonder what the competition level was because he should have received heavier attention averaging 33. Also, the refs in that vid are pretty bad.
Can't speak to the actual level of competition but those are two of the smallest high school teams I've ever seen. Still, 33 ppg is pretty heady.

Especially considering a high school game is only 32 minutes (at least in most states, assuming the same in NY state).

Didnt SBH average a point a minute also in Grover Center intramurals, or was that a shot a minute?

Is he going to sign soon? Arkley said that he signed based on athletic communications, but his post remains and the ohio athletics post is no longer there.

Not sure about his scoring prowess, Jeff.

Not too long after we graduated, USA Today had an assist watch for Manute Bol. Something like 345 minutes without an assist, 532 minutes without an assist, etc. . .

I always thought at the time that The Post should have done something similar with SBH and his play in the university's intramural basketball league. I still contend that his next assist will be his first.

His brother will be on academic scholarship, this is great for the Brown family, Jeff Boals and OU basketball and the University.

"Brown averaged a section-high 33.8 points per game and he set school records for points in a game (53), steals in a season and free-throw percentage. Northstar coach JJ Garwood also stated Brown owns the state record for steals in a career with 458.

"(Michael)Brown Jr. finished as the ninth leading scorer in Northstar history and owns the record for assists in a season and in a game. He finished second all-time in steals behind his brother. The twins led the program to 108 wins during their career."

This kid seems special to me. I don’t post on here very much but I felt compelled to do it for this kid. I know the level of competition seems fairly weak, but when you take a closer look at just him you see just how special this kid is. I see an explosion PG with a good handle l. He’s a tremendous FT shooter which almost always translates into a great shooter. He reminds me of dartis coming out of high school, with his shooting abilities but I believe with his speed that this kid to reach a level Jordy never was able to. I feel like we are all sleeping on him because of his competition when this kid could very well be the prize of the class. Well this is just my opinion of course so feel free to disagree with me. Just thought I’d stop lurking and give me two cents. Have a nice day everyone :)



Also side note: I’m typing this from the hospital as I recover from a surgery I had today, so this could just be my medicine talking but idk I’ve felt this for awhile about him and just thought I’d share with everyone. Once again have a great day everyone and GO CATS

To add to your glowing review..hoping his brother Michael is a steal with an academic scholarship! Film on YouTube shows he's a good defender and is similar to brother in athleticism and handles. If even 3 of Brown, Brown, Roderick, Price, Foster and McDay are gamers we can be solid next year with Jordy, Preston, BVP and I am assuming Ogbanda ready to play. Of course it would be nice if Foster could develop and Brown, McDay, Price and Roderick are ready to play NOW!!!

Color me a fan. The fact that he's the all time leader in the state of New York in steals and third all time in points, yet seems humble about it all is awesome. I loved having a ball hawk PG with Cooper, now maybe the Brown bros can be similar to that.
