He'd be quite the coup for Boals at this stage in the recruiting calendar. 247 has him as practically a top 200 recruit nationally. Multiple ACC and Big XII offers, with Big 10, Big East, and SEC offers as well. He'd be the highest rated (non-transfer) recruit we've landed in a long time. Higher rated than DJ Cooper, even.

Whether we land Price or not, this certainly bodes well for the future trajectory of recruiting under Boals. To get a kid like this on campus in just a few short weeks on the job is nothing short of remarkable.

Edit: Also worth noting he was interested in Princeton, so presumably he's good in the classroom as well.

Agree with Flomo. To get even a visit from Marvin Price is impressive. Hope he chooses Ohio!!

Impressive list of offers.

Seen him listed as everything from PG to SF. Sounds like a pretty versatile wing at 6-5 with good handles and decent range

Sounds like assistant coach Lamar Thornton played a big role in this as well. Having an assistant coach deep in recruiting like this is huge for us moving forward.
