We need to put this young man on top or very near the top for next year..He played against the big kid from Medina that has offers from several Big 10 schools.

Took him to school outside with his shooting and on defense to him out of the game.

Might have to wear my OHIO shirt to some games this winter at Johnstown H S

Just make sure you obey those speed limits if you are going through on Friday night. Every time I go through there on a Friday the police have a couple of folks pulled over.

And if you go...... www.62bbq.com/

good clips to watch.

Not sure where he translates at the next level. Seems to like it in the paint but 6'6 is gonna be a tweener. On the wing he looks a mite slow, in the paint he is a might short. Doesn't matter as he has a Good nose for the ball and nice hands. Game gets a lot faster in a year than what I am seeing here.

Borna, that sounds like a typical MAC player.

I was thinking the same thing. If he can be a hustle guy that can spell some minutes, grab some boards, play some D and get easy buckets then I like it.

When I saw that highlight, gotta be honest I thought Michael Bramos...

No kidding. Tim Pollitz and Jerome Tillman did pretty well as undersized 4s.

I'm going to disagree here. Every recruit signed needs to be a guy who is challenging for a starting role as the coaching staff intends. I like the thought process of the hustle guy who gets boards and plays great D. Just like I like the idea of having a guy who is a pure shooter that can become even more.
I'm just not interested in seeing a scholly offered to a player who is there only to "spell some minutes". Maybe that's not exactly what you meant.

Agree with OUVan - Tillman and Pollitz were very effective 4's that were 6'6", but I also like the idea of having guys with length giving major problems on defense.

Not really what I meant. It was actually intended the way you described. If he's not a starter on this level, but can still contribute in a meaningful way and push the guys in front of him, I'll take him.

We're going to see lots of fights for positions this next season, and that's something that will be good for everyone on the team.

Jason once again leads Johnstown to victory, this time with 21 points and 13 boards in the win over Beechcroft. He was also 10-11 from the FT line.

http://www.newarkadvocate.com/story/sports/high-school/ba.../

Johnstown advances to the District Final vs. Columbus South at Worthington Kilbourne High School on 3/13. Winner advances to the Regionals at Ketting Fairmount High School and play the winner of Dayton Dunbar and Cincinnati Archbishop McNicholas.

This guy or the other 6'6" thick tweener recruit from Kentucky (Carson) would be interesting pieces to put into the line-up...

Jason has committed, per his Twitter account. Good pickup for OU in my opinion. Covered a good amount of his games here in Columbus and think he's a good fit for SaulBall

Blessed to say I've officially decided to commit to Ohio University🙌🏼✅— Jason Carter (@Jason_Carter_25) June 30, 2015

Barring any unforeseen incidents this locks up recruiting for 2016, on to 2017 where we have 3 spots to fill.
