In Michigan's last 5 games-North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio State, UCLA and Texas....JSmooth has played a total of 20 minutes....20 MINUTES...including 2 DNPs. We all have regrets in life, but I wonder how JSmooth will look back on this decision 20 years from now? I'll give him credit though, surprised he hasn't walked away. Good news on the horizon though...Michigan has Detroit, Jacksonville and Alabama A & M coming up. So at least a few minutes coming JSmooth's way before Christmas break. #Kirk>Simmons

Don't be so sure, unless you literally mean a few. UM beat UC Riverside by 45 and JS played 7 minutes.

Well, I just looked and Jaaron did get 12 minutes today against Detroit in a 90-58 win. 3 pts (3 for 5 from line), 1 assist.

Andrew, I would not trade my minutes at Ohio for less minutes at Michigan, just because of some perceived prestige. He made his decision, so sing no sad songs for him. He likely thought he could pull it off and believed in himself. Maybe he got some bad advice, as he didn't just have this idea on his own.

Couple months into the thread and my status is - I don't follow "JSmooth" at all - 'cept on this thread. I have no interest in Michigan basketball.....

And no "JSmooth" highlights on SportsCenter (or anywhere else).....Unless I missed something.....

^^^^^^^ This. Interesting how the narrative has changed with this thread. You want to feel sorry for the guy, but how can you really? It was his decision to absolutely destroy his final year of college hoops. 8 minutes and 0-3 against Alabama A & M. Truly stunning rapid fall. But hey, at least JSmooth is working towards that grad degree.

Last two games have been 0 points and a DNP/CD. I hope it was all worth it to reach the NCAA tournament. He'll have the best seat in the house to see the game(s).

My father was a math professor and he often pointed out that math is not arithmetic. Einstein had trouble with arithmetic.
