I think it's Beilein's revenge. He's still bitter about the loss to Ohio in 2012, so he concocted this plan to steal our point guard, then bench him to torture us.

Lol, Simmons didn’t regress that much, those guards suck.

I think you are just scratching the surface of this scandal. Beilein went to Wheeling College and while there was indoctrinated into the infamous, worldwide Jesuit conspiracy. And, did you know that Donald Trump went to Fordham University, another Jesuit school, for his first two years of college. You see how the dots are already starting to connect? Since Ohio University was founded by Methodists, a heretical Protestant sect, Beilein is obviously trying to punish us for our original sin and at the same time revenge 2012. As a fellow member of the Jesuit underground, Beilein is in constant communication with Trump, who supports Belein's actions as a way to Make Rome Great Again. There's also a lot more that we don't have time to go into, but the Jesuits are in cahoots with Russian Orthodox church . . .

First half against UCLA: 3 min 0-1 FT 0 points 0 assists
How many times he looked uncomfortable playing shooting guard? Too many to count.

Might want to rethink that. Simpson is having a nice second half and OT against UCLA, particularly on defense.

This on a team that starts and significantly plays a 4 guard lineup. Not a hater but no matter how you view this Simmons made a horrible choice unless his goal was to average single minutes per game in his last year of collegiate eligibility.

Simpson and Simmons are both guards playing for Michigan. I was referring to the play of Simpson.

But he's playing UCLA, not Upper Corner of Lower Alacana School of Welding.

Hmm . . . I thought that our next home game was against East Luhrig School of Argibusiness & Strip Mine Reclamation. I guess I'll have to check my schedule.

^^^^This.

He got as many minutes against Indiana as I did against Coppin State. He just had a better seat.

Giacomo, to follow up your suggestive post...would you really have rather played 2-5 minutes per game against programs like UCLA & Ohio State instead of 30+ minutes against programs like Western Kentucky & Iona?

Dickie V was even talking about him last night as Michigan won at Texas, mentioning how good he was at Ohio.

Barring an unforeseen change, he's not gonna see the floor. Simpson is getting better, and Brooks is still seeing 12-15min/g. But if you're Michigan, at some point into the conference season, you've gotta decide on who your guy is at PG. Based on what I've seen in 2-3 recent games, because of his defense, I'd choose Simpson.

It's all about defense. Even Beilein said during a post game that he looks for defense first and then scoring.

Then why did he sign Jaaron? Did he somehow think that he would become the defensive player of the year? I think he was just an emergency backup if everybody else didn’t work out or got injured, etc.

Now we are worshipping Beilein. Jaaron is being wasted. There are not 5 better guards than Jaaron on that roster, Zavier Simpson is getting better, but he is not Jaaron. None of them average double figures. Jaaron was an 18 and 8 guy that could score down the stretch. He made a poor decision to leave Ohio and he is paying for it. Saul offered him autonomy, he gave him the space that he needed to work his kinks out and Jaaron left for greener pastures.

Worshipping? Are you sure about that? It seems to me one said what Beilein said in a press conference, and the other asked a question.

worshipping is a strong word. Beilein is going with guys he recruited over Jaaron. Simpson was a turnover machine and was shooting less than 40% and one point. Their guards stink. I personally think that Jaaron is better than all of them, Simpson is getting better. I saw the Ohio State and the UCLA game and part of the Texas game and that is what I am basing my opinion off of.

Because guys like Beilein make a living by purposefully playing players that do not give them the best chance to win.
