Rediculous. Easy fix is that you get two transfers and that's it. Then you have to prove hardship again. This is stupid.

Deyton Albury 6'2 - Queens/Utah State

I didn't think much of the staff following Javan a few weeks back, other than maybe just a MAC staff following a MAC player. But, Tyler Cochran has recently been followed.

He has Charleston listed as one of his contact schools. Javan was considering Charleston too, so perhaps they're interested in reuniting?

Boals might be really swinging for the fences, following AJ Storr as of today. Also started following ND's JR Konieczny.

FWIW -- not a single player I've referenced the staff following has been followed by Boals this portal season up until Simmons and Braeth committed.

Edit -- not implying Storr is going to commit. Just an interesting observation.

I would not think either of these guys will come to OU to play on a team that has three guys back who average double figures as well as a guy like Breath and a dude in Elliott who will be looking for shots. I still think we need a D-2 or JUCO guy who averaged double figures and is looking for his D1 spot like Vic or Tommy Schmock or even Travis Wilkins. We have enough Dudes, let's get a complimentary guy who can play. JJ Kelly is going to be the big time get anyways so let's not get big portal names just to squash our frosh.

How would Storr or Konieczny be any different than Cochran? Outside of their P5 credentials (which technically, Cochran has now). Storr is probably a pipe dream and I'm all for JUCO/D2 additions, but we shouldn't let the thought our incoming freshman's potential dictate who we're bringing in via portal.

If a proven guard/wing at the D1 level wants to come to OU, I wouldn't let JJ Kelly prevent that.

It's a good school. Hope Mussman doesn't kick him to the curb after one year.

After all in the one game he played iirc vs a power conference team last season (Syracuse), Gabe ended up with zero points and five fouls in 24 minutes. Ouch.

I'm unsure if we actually offered Aljanjic -- same could be said for the other Ohio schools. That or the guaranteed PT wasn't there.

I feel like Boals might be really interested in Konieczny, the ND kid a few posts up. They're now following each other on IG (Boals was just following him on Twitter last week). Mike Cifliku, our DOBO, is also now following Konieczny on IG.

Was at Wichita State this past season, Lipscomb for two seasons, UC, and then UNCG before that. He didn't overlap with Braeth. He only played in 8 games during his lone season at UC, guessing that's why he still has eligibility.

I'd take his 23/24 Lipscomb numbers as an AJB replacement. Would it be a Bobcat season without multiple AJs?

I'd take him on Ohio but it's a joke that a college athlete could play at five different schools during their career.
