Please, please, please, please, PLEASE hire Hipsher.

I've been to exactly one game in Oxford (the Ohio game three years ago) and they continually cal and ask me to buy season tickets.  Maybe the next time they call I'll agree to buy some if they hire Hipsher.

I kinda hope Miami hires someone decent. "They done fall off" in EVERYTHING. Now that Temple is gone in football, we're running out of people to hate.

Me too ... it's just the thought of Hipsher at Miami is so funny. I bet their fans (all 6 of them) are flipping out that he's being mentioned.

But always remember; no matter how good they may be, they will always suck.

Interesting old thread . . . from when JC was hired. It's hard to know what would have happened if Jeff had been hired instead of JC, or instead of SP. Perhaps, we got him at just right time, after he'd had some HC experience. Or, maybe if we had hired him the first or second time, we've have three MAC championship under our belt and a few long runs in the NCAA. One of those historical ifs that we'll never know the answer to. Yes, it's the off-season and strange topics like this, started by strange people, pop up from time to time,

My question?

Does Christian ("proven winner") play the same style as the present team is used to? For some reason, thinking back to Kent when he was there, I think not, but don't really know. If he comes in and plays his style we will all be in for a long year next season! I thought continuity was real key in a new hire here! Did we get that? If not, it could be a few years before the "proven winner" gets going! Like starting over again.

From the Columbus Dispatch article earlier today:

Christian is known as a disciplinarian whose teams play hard-nosed defense.

Time will tell .... but if he can maintain or up the intensity even more on the defense end we'll be tough next year.
I was at the Ohio-Belmont ESPN Bracket Buster game and not only did his team not play "hard-nosed" defense, they barely played defense at all.

That was a rough game to watch. Those bracket buster games ran the spectrum of quality for the men in green. Some impressive wins but also some pretty bad clunkers, too.

I've had a few requests to sing this one again...."where are the clowns? Send in the clowns. Don't bother, they're here".

Were you part of SMO? I remember going to a concert at MemAud when they sang that song.
