If I'm coach, I'm not calling it that, but in the back of my mind, I'm thinking that.

I wouldn't call it a must have, but I surely see your point. I'm more interested in seeing if/how they get more from the bench, and find ways to get Jordan open. Those things will carry over to wins later in the year.

Flip side, at some point, if they're gonna get to Cleveland, they're going to have to win a couple games like this one.

Is my memory wrong, hasn't OHIO had a hard time winning up there in Ypsilanti? I seem to remember a lot poor shooting and missed opportunities at EMU, but maybe I'm disproportionately remembering the losses. Anyone have quick access to the W-L record there over the last 20 years, or so?

I hate these games against conference opponents where the home/homes are like two weeks apart. We just saw these guys.

Find Jordy on the wings and in the corners, get the ball into the middle to your guys who can pass. Same recipe.

Thanks for the figures. Let's make it three in a row! It would be nice to see Dartis get it going in this game, if history could repeat itself.

I do not know what is happening. How ia this the same team who beat Iona and Bonnie away? We seem to be regressing and I do not have an answer. This is the first game I have wanted to turn off all year. And sad thing is Eastern has 5 fans and is playing awful also.

I have watched a lot of Ohio basketball games through the years and I’ve never seen a worst 20 minute performance by a Bobcats basketball team. It doesn’t get more embarrassing than that 20 minute first half display against one of the worst teams in the MAC. It’s like we didn’t want to get on the bus. And I have no idea what has happened to Preston over the last 10 games. Now Ohio could very well come back and win in the second half and it would not surprise me. However, I’m in a state of shock over what I just watched in that first 20 minutes. 5-28 from the field in first half. Can’t make that up. Down only 7 at the half is a miracle. If this were Akron, we’d be down 35 at half.

Anyone know why Murrell out? I cannot find anything. And why no McMurray or Springs? I have a bad feeling those 3 are basically going to be told that they need to find brighter pastures.
