The university would have to discontinue its primary TV commercial.

There was a point in the second half where Preston literally took over the game and was in complete control of the game and his emotions. It's been a very long time since I've seen that performance from a Bobcat.

Last night was the first time in several years that I can honestly say this team seemed to be in control and everyone seemed to know their role in the game and stuck with it. Hopefully this team is beginning to click on all cylinders at the right time.

Now if we could all just hit some foul shots with consistency!!!!!

It finally seems like Boals has nine guys he can trust. Miles doesn't scare me handling the ball. Murrell will only get better with health and Foster is banging. Roderick is going to be a stud. Loved his rip away rebound and the and-1. I feel like we finally have depth. The only thing that makes me truly squirm is BVP at the line. I just don't get it. It's totally mental now.

I always wondered why Saul didn't press or go zone. Boals uses the two very well.

This we agree on. As much as I liked the guy, this used to drive me nuts. Boals & staff have gotten wins because they switched things up on defense from something besides their straight up man to man.

I am very excited about the defense. Lots of guys just do a great job. They are getting better and better with their feel of when to come off guys and help and when to get back. Random / pointless observation...I think Jason Carter would've have really enjoyed and excelled in this.

The outside shooting sucked and we still cruised. B-Rod is 33% from 3 and Miles Brown just 16%. I think both those guys will be near 40% once they get a little more comfortable and settled in. They just strike me as good shooters, better than they've shown. That is exactly what we need...now and going forward. With Preston & BVP we have the ball handler / driver / mid-range jumper but we need the sharp shooting to come from elsewhere.

About as good of a 2 game stretch as you can imagine from Jason. Despite the triple double, I think he was better in the WMU game than the Miami game. He was in control, just 1 turnover and I don't remember that. I think Jason torches below average teams but can get more consistent with more talented teams. I don't think he will go anywhere, and I think it would be a big mistake for him to.

Have to pump the brakes a bit after 2 home games against below average teams. Will be very interested to see how they do @ Kent.

I really enjoy watching Miles play defense, and the team as a whole the past few games. They are playing with a lot of energy on the defensive end.

Also, what appeared to be the entire Pickerington Central team sat down in front of us. Are we recruiting anyone currently from Pick Central? I didn't see anything right off hand on the recruiting board.

Sam Towns originally played there. It would be nice to get that pipeline going again.
