Question: Does anyone know why the transmission sometimes appears choppy?
Thanks

It’s because the game is choppy. What time does the varsity game start?

What a game!?

I'll take shooting 40% from 3, and 15-16 from the FT line.

Great game, great team effort, great team D. Miami sucks.

On to the next.

Have to keep it going at home. don't give one back on Tuesday.

I think our South American friends got off at the same exit as Miami's offense - one exit short of the Convo.

Sibs weekend + Brazilian contigent + v. rival
Miami + women's game as opener = best crowd of
the season?
Yep. 7350.
I'm hopeful that ends up being actual butts in seats. Getting a W in front of that crowd would be nice too.

Nice ass whupping. Do it again in a couple of weeks. Kind of thought Owens would have it more in shape by now. That final score should be in the Rivaly video. Did they play that on the new center scoreboard?

He had the program going in the right direction until this year. I get that they played a terrible game but I still think we are definitely more talented than them. Hopefully we can win the game on Tuesday in one of the easiest games left on the schedule to get some momentum at the right time of the year.

Tuesday is a must win for Ohio if they want to host a first round tourney game. They need to take care of business at home and beat Miami again at the end of the season to achieve at least 8 wins in the MAC.

GO BOBCATS
Is it an automatic, or manual transmission? That would help diagnose the problem.

Miami's first half made shots from the floor:

18:44, 17:05, and then 0:22

Ohhh my.

At the 23 second mark they were shooting 7.4%.

Three teams fighting for the 8th spot - us, Toledo and Western. Right now Toledo holds the tie breaker on both of those teams although they have to play Western again at Western.

I'm baffled how Arkley didn't know that DJ Cooper was the only player in OHIO history (before Preston) to record a triple double. I mean...it's not like this is his first year covering OHIO hoops. And it's not like that was some obscure stat to dig up. Shouldn't an accomplishment as rare as someone pulling off a triple-double be automatic to know when you cover the team on a regular basis and in this case have covered the team for years? Found that to be a little odd.

Very happy for this team. Watching the starters dance on the bench as they reserves ran out the clock was pure joy. I am looking forward to watching them finish the year. Go Cats!

2nd player to accomplish!

Did DJ perhaps have more than one?

That was my point...he tweeted out during the game that Preston was on pace to become the first player in OHIO history to record a triple-double. But it had already been done...by DJ Cooper against University of Portland. I just don't get how he didn't know that before he tweeted.

Radio guys doing PBP on ESPN3 feed didn't remember/know that DJ did it either. They were talking (admittedly trying to fill time in a blowout) for quite awhile about Preston being the first Bobcat to accomplish the feat. Someone must have gotten in their ear by the end of the game because they made a comment about "we'll have to double check on that, it MIGHT not be the first time" followed by "oh that must have been DJ Cooper in Portland on that road trip none of us went on".

Wow...did not realize our school announcers had no clue either. Doesn’t matter if they weren’t in Portland. Really poor awareness on a rare accomplishment that you think those who follow the program every day should know without even thinking about it. It’s not like the only other triple double happened in 1945. It was DJ Cooper for crying out loud.

Arkley is mailing in the men's team this year. He loved Saul and had an obvious working relationship with him where he defended him and made every excuse in the book for him. For some reason he does not like Boals and it shows.
