I see our 1st 3 conference games are on the road.
These 3 games will be a great test for our boys as road victories don't come easy for MAC teams.
There is a great deal of hype for our team this year and winning these 1st 3 on the road would go a long way to setting up this year as special.

We neutralized him last year by having his assignment back him down in the low post and get him into foul trouble. Preston is solid in the post when defenders are his size as it is, so we should go to it again. I'd expect Preston to get doubled, so jump shooting might be open. Hopefully Roderick will return to the lineup.

Their game vs Malone was a lot like ours vs PNW. They trailed at the half and needed a big second half to win by ten. LCJ had to play 35 min; he scored 34 with ten assists. Like DJ, he's short and from Chicago. Akron was only 4 of 22 behind the arc and had just three guys in double figures, but they hit 31 of 52 inside the arc. Rebounding was even.

Against St. Bonnie they were only 6 of 32 from three but 20 of 21 from the line. Bonnie hit only one three out of 14 tries and were outrebounded but still won. Bonnie was 29 of 51 inside the arc and 20 of 28 from the line.

Strange lineup coming out of the under 12 media timeout. Sears, Brown, Roderick, McMurray, Miguel. That's the lineup you put in if you get a whistle with about a minute to go before the media timeout.

That's a lineup a coach puts out there when he's very angry and trying to make a not so subtle point with the starting 5.
