Agree JP made a few mistakes but he also had about 10 would be assists creating good looks that our guys didn't hit. He made some incredible passes.
I'm going to have to go back and rewatch the game because there is no way Preston only had 4 assists. I agree that he had a bunch of should-have-been-assists but his passes led to a lot more than 4 buckets.

Or Red Panda? C’mon Mike. The suspense is excruciating. :)

He is talking about the 2005 MAC Championship that gave us the "What is...Buffalo Sucks." moment. Have we ever tracked that young man down?

In a one-point game a lot of can make the difference in the outcome, but watching the replay last night three things in the second half seemed more important than others. About two minutes in Brewton hit a 3-pointer to cut the lead to four and was fouled by Roderick. That really ignited Buffalo's bench. But Brewton missed the free throw. That seemed to let the air out and Ohio ran the lead back to nine. A few minutes later Buffalo was cutting into the lead again but had a bucket taken away for basket interference. Ohio was able to run the lead back to ten. Then with the score tied at 68, Nickelberry scored what appeared to be the go-ahead basket. But it was waived off on a charging call after he stiff-armed an Ohio player (Miles Brown?) on the way to the basket. Ohio then scored four straight. Those three plays were all momentum changers and took four points off the board for Buffalo.

I know with the emergence of Sears, minutes are harder to come by for Miles Brown...but it seems like I am always pleased with him on both ends of the court every time he is in the game.
I'm finding it hard to keep Miles Brown off the floor. To me, he's the best defender on the team and he's coming around on the offensive side. Hard to take away minutes from any of the other guards, but his defense has been so good you have to.

You and I discussed this during the UB game -- the question is whose minutes get eaten into? My feeling is a little from McDay, and maybe Roderick, though his game has elevated a little in the last week or so. It's great to have 8-9 guys that push to get starters minutes, and I think Brown is in that mix for sure.

I have been wanting to buy that young man a beer for going on 16 years. If he reveals himself and is ever in Athens, or Cleveland during the Tourney, I will gladly make good on that offer. Might even throw in a shot.
