They are all important games but this one is a really big game in terms of separation in an already crowded middle of the MAC. Both of us are at .500 which to me can get a team the 4 seed this year. Typical Sendy team. Lots of transfers who gel late and win 18 to 20 games. Tough challenge as usual.

Not that home court matters much, but I'm glad we're getting them at home first. Maybe by the time we go back up there we'll have gelled a little more and have some momentum.

Sendy just got Sincere Carry as a transfer for next year from Duquesne. Solid get for him. That dude gets all the transfers!!!

Best all-around big man in the MAC with Danny Pippen. Can go inside and at 6-9 can hit the 3.

It's gonna be a tough matchup for Wilson on the outside and BVP on the inside. Curious to see who guards who, especially with Hamilton also in their lineup.

If Hamilton does get the ball, I would almost prefer fouling him. He's atrocious at the FT line so far.

Really liked watching the Fiami game. Preston is the glue that holds this team together. He makes all his teammates look better. True sign of a leader in civilian life, military and athletics. If the Ohio basketball team will follow his leadership, we should have an excellent season, which includes climbing the hill that's now in front of us first. BEAT THE FLUSHES!

Is that a real name? I hope the refs keep an eye on his dribbling.

Led A10 in assists last year and scored in double figures. Kent and Akron keep raking in the quality transfers.

As long as you got Sendy on the sideline you got a chance to win vs Kent.

Unless Sendy plays PG the rest of the way I don’t have a good feeling in this one.

Rebounding in the first half: Kent +20

Sounds like lack of effort, discipline and hustle. Going to be an interesting second half already down 14. Yikers

Idk about anyone else but this team makes half ass cuts when running the offense.

This is our "every 4 games stinker." We will now win 2 games in a row. Kent cares more it is obvious.

Evidence is mounting we're really not that good.

It’s back to basics. Defense and Rebounding. From my vantage point Miles Brown is our best defender out front and needs to see more action. Someone as yet unknown on the bench has to be identified as a rebounder and stopper underneath. We can score but we can’t stop or rebound against the quality teams in the league.

First few games of the season tricked us into thinking we aren’t still a young squad

Losing the rebounding battle in the fashion we did may have been predictable, and we didn't do enough other things to counter that. The 6'7'' 230 pound James Beck went right at Roderick every time Ben was on the floor, and as such, we didn't have our best shooter in stretches in the middle of the game to stay with Kent. There's not enough half court pace, not enough motions and cuts in our offense and it's been that way all year.

Lots of guys need to raise their games if this team is going to turn a corner while Preston and BVP are still with us.

Credit to BVP though. Last two games we've seen the aggressive play from him that he's capable of.

Just not good enough defensively as a unit. The rotations are slow, the hedging isn't quite there and the ball screen action is absolutely killing Ohio once the dribbler gets in the paint. You can drive and kick this team to death right now.

Also beginning to think they aren't as athletic as we thought they were. Everything just seems clunky on the offensive end unless JP does his thing, BVP is hot or Sears is getting to the rim. And I didn't count but man do they shoot way too many quick trigger threes early in the shot clock.
