I saw that. What a nice compliment.

BVP would be infuriating as an opponent. He’s like a Karate Kid villain with the headband, hair and scowl.

I mean that as a complete compliment. Every team needs a “THAT motherbleeper!” guy.

Absolutely... as was the Cleveland State game. The 40-0 run looks more and more impressive as time goes by.

I don't think even Jeff Boals could have drawn up the scenario that unfolded this weekend. Incredible team play and three convincing victories. WOW! What a massive turnaround from that sinking feeling 11 days ago when we had a positive COVID test and the season was potentially over.

I was amazed when Groce won the league in his second year. Boals has done one better... won it in his second year without having even lost a MAC tourney game. And he's an alum. Hard to improve upon that!

It's so tempting to think about the next step, and what could happen next week. But this is a moment to linger on. What a great job by this team. So exciting. So proud!

Maybe the athletics department will have something (but don't hold your breath; they still have "TBA" instead of "Ohio" in the website box score). ESPN didn't carry it and the MAC's "Championship Celebration" video for the women was about 30 seconds of edited video that seemed to be taken on somebody's cell phone. Expect something similar for the men. What a letdown.

Surprisingly, the Cincinnati Enquirer (cincinnati.com) had quite a lot of coverage. Go to “more stories”. Accessed a lot of tweets, etc. from there. Will need to subscribe though but very reasonable.

I suppose a relatively positive account given his history but “lack of team chemistry”, “relatively easy road to the title game”. Where does he get this stuff? I know Kent had some player availability issues but every one had challenges.
