Torvik predicts we win this one 85-78.

I'm not so confident. Hope hes right.

A win by ANY amount would be good. Even one point. Just win this and move on.

Likely decided by free throws.

If so, we are in deep trouble.

We actually shoot better from the line as a team than they do. They only shoot 62% as a team.

Yeah, EE is on layup line. But not Breath.

This team can't afford to have pav on the bench.

Not sure how good it is when he's on the floor scoring 20-plus pts

Kelly > Elliot

I know EE has been injured, but it feels like Kelly does a lot of the same things better, and can shoot.

Things not on my bingo card in year seven of the Boals era:

1.) Trailing Bethune-Cookman at home by 8 points.
2.) Starting shooting guard getting zero shots up in 13 minutes of play time in first half.
3.) Ohio 0-9 from 3 point land in one half of basketball against Bethune-Cookman.

Good times.

Extremely lucky to be down 8 at the half. Can't hit a 3, 6 TO to 2 assists.

Exciting things from the first half:

-- Simmons kept us in that game with his offensive rebounding and size. 10 points, 3-4 from the field, 4-7 from the line. Worked hard for those points.

-- 0 shots from Sheldon. Good.

Not so exciting:

-- 2 bench points

-- 1 point, 0-10 shooting from our wings.

Was not happy when he missed first of 2 FT attempts and saw Evans at the scorer's table. Made his next attempt and had a few choice words with Boals on his way to the bench.

He was kind of right, honestly. I didn't get that substitution. We'd been down 12, Simmons was a key part of us fighting back to down 4. Lead expanded back to 8 after Evans replaced Simmons. Didn't score without Simmons on the floor.

IMO Good move by Boals. Too often coaches keep riding the horses who do the long fight back only to have limited energy to sustain the effort. Better to gamble with a fresh body then to keep the same lineup. Just think of all the multiple OT's where coaches keep the same lineup while the bench has the energy to push the opponent but stays on the bench.

Ayden Evans on the court with seven minutes left in a close game sure is something to watch. Why not Kuany? Make it make sense.

The lineup Boals had on the floor during that stretch is -29 on the season.

This Pavs-Elliot-Kelly-Hadaway-Simmons lineup should play for the last 6 minutes.

Evans is playing with zero confidence . . . very understandable.

Yeah, Evans isn't a part of the rotation. He's playing because of Breath's injury.

So the good news...Boals finally limits Sheldon's minutes. Doesn't play for 15 minutes in the second half.

The bad news he puts him in with 10 seconds left down 3 and he fires it off the side board at the horn.

Where was Conners in that situation.

Make it make sense.

Yes...Bethune-Cookman has players and talent....but still a horrid loss.

Let the Boals questions begin. As of right now, this season is heading nowhere.

Down 3 with 40 seconds left and instead of trying to attack for a quick two we run it all the way down to 10 seconds without scoring. Just terrible.

I agree Kelly is better but he missed a couple of gimmes.
