The only thing that hampers this program is that 70% of the alums who were making all kinds of noise the last couple weeks won't be heard from again for years.
Not only the alums, but what about the students celebrating on Court St. Saturday night? Those that can fall out of bed, walk 10 or 15 minutes, and be in the Convo in January/February of 2022 or 2023?
Both of these posts are ABSOLUTELY true! I pay little attention to these bandwagon types. They cannot be counted on to donate, buy tickets or attend games. As for the student "celebrators"? I'm guessing 90% will never set their feet in the Convo next year.

That is the way it is at OHIO. I'm open to suggestions on how to change

American children are raised not to care a fig about college basketball before March.

And even then, college basketball is only the tortilla chip to dip the sports gambling and NBA Draft talk on.

Interesting story about just how prevalent sports betting has become in NJ.

My cousin spends a lot of time in AC,loves to play slots.
She was down there last weekend.

She said the casinos were empty, even though the casino's hotels were full.

She said the sports books were packed.

I'm not a gambler.
Apparently there are all kinds of ways to bet on games while they're going on.

Buffalo Wild Wings even has a deal with either Draft Kings or FanDuel that offers certain in game bets, only for people in their places.

Pretty similar in Indiana. Strangely living in a town bisected by the Ohio state line, it’s legal on the West side of town and illegal on the East side. At least we’re on the same time standard now...
