I'm pleased that Coach wasn't considering a starting lineup change with the usual 5 healthy. I like what Towns brings from the bench, and I will continue to believe in Mr. Roderick. His season shooting funk from deep has re-focused his defense, rebounding, drives and all out effort, so when he starts contributing regularly from downtown again it will be like bonus points.

This team is 18-3 and 9-1 and is improving, especially on offense. I think that's gotta be bad news for our MAC opponents. Starters shot 54% from 3 today and everyone hit at least 2. If Ben can start shooting the three closer to his career average and Mark can work on improving his assist to turnover ratio, look out.

I'm not looking past the Broncos, even at 4-17 and 0-10, but February 8 is double circled on my calendar. I don't think the Rockets can play better than they did in Athens, but I know the Cats can.

Stoked for Rodrick! He hits a couple buckets and you could just see the weight lifted off his shoulders with his teammates cheering him on. That was sure good to see.

If Brod starts rolling, we now have 4 legit guys that can push 15-20 points a game. Throw in making our bench a little deeper as of late and we are starting to get things lined up for March.

As expectation rise for this team, you just get the feeling they are poised to embrace the challenge.

18-3, is this fun or what?!?!
I'm so pumped to experience Ohio hoops history. I agree with your points, we could be shaping to make a run come March.

Chase,

It goes without saying that you picked a good time to get seriously involved with OHIO hoops. I hope your spring break plans are in Cleveland.

Any chance you and a crew are headed to Toledo on Tuesday?

Shoot we should start a BA fund to get kids up to Cleveland. I can't be there so I'll pay for someone's ticket.

It was 64-38...if you put money down on Ohio you gotta be super annoyed today.

Agree the game for Roderick was massive. Those first 3 threes were middle of the net. Can't oversell how big that could be for us just in time for the Toledo game.

Carter has had a great stretch of late. He's been hitting the open lane quickly and getting lots of easy buckets.

No one played over 34 minutes, which isn't too bad but clearly coach was hoping to have them done at the 10 minute mark and had to do a line shift when the bench let them go on a big run. Still, the busy week has went well for the most part. With all due respect to the McKinney way of thinking, the worst of the opponents is coming in tomorrow. If we can keep everyone under 25-30 mins again like Thursday, that would be tremendous and we'll be ready to go for Toledo.

That's an awesome idea. We should offer seats on the special "Bobcat Attack" bus heading to Cleveland. Half the price of the school-sponsored bus thanks to our fundraising. Great way to get students engaged with this site.

If somebody can get this started and set-up, I'm in on paying for a ticket for a student to go to Cleveland.

Seriously, Cellis....you have accomplished a lot in a short period of time. Keep It up.

Maybe a separate thread should be created on this topic and pinned?
