Sidenote: a character on the Andy Griffith show, when called "inept" by Sheriff Taylor, wanted to prove otherwise and show the sheriff that he wasn't "inept" but rather he was "ept".
Played by Don Rickles.

Looking at the weather forecast, Winter Storm Warning in Athens county starting at 1am tonight. Rain will turn to freezing rain around 8am tomorrow. My guess is 50/50 we play tomorrow but that's just a guess. .22" of ice to be expected in Athens.

If the radar is to be believed, Athens is still just rain. Looks like the freezing rain line runs diagonal from Chillicothe to Lancaster. Moving SE throughout day.

If EMU is in Athens and they can get *necessary* gameday staff (I mean bare-minimum necessary), I'd go for it.

According to the weather guys up here, it's supposed to rain in Athens until about noon when it'll start to freeze. It's supposed to last until after midnight, then switch to a little snow. A quarter to a half inch of ice is expected by tomorrow morning, with an inch or two of snow on top of it.

Gotta think that EMU and the officials are already there, so as long as the power stays on at the Convo it should be a go.

I predict Gavin Block and James Thompson will find a way to get into another spat.

Ha. Made me look up his whereabouts. Not surprised to see him at Saul's side.

Two years with Dambrodt sounds miserable.

Roderick back, and with IJ's minutes increasing of late, today is probably the deepest we've been in a little while.

It really was kind of nice and different to have the game on the second monitor last year while I'm working remote last season. Mid day chatroom tomorrow?
Putting the game on my second screen is a great way to feel better about working today when many people are off due to the snow and ice. : ).

Headset tuned into the first half while moving snow; what a delightful way to clean the driveway!

Up ten at the half!

For whatever reason the Victory Network stream hasn't been working for me the last two games. The stream opens up then just spins... Pulled it up on WXTQ and it's working great. We did get one emergency alert interruption in the first half.

It's been a long time since we've had a team that plays with this much consistent focus and poise.

Basketball is an easy game when you play great defense, rebound and the shots are falling.....

Ball State game, Frazier looked smooth and more comfortable out there .. what is keeping him from working his way up the bench and getting more minutes?

Probably the long scoreless stretch by the second team that eventually forced the starters back in. I agree Frazier looks bound to earn more time but I don't think he has a home in any rotation yet. The team never got a big enough lead for that third wave to arrive off the bench.

It’s been said before but it’s worth repeating…Radio Garden is nice alternative to Victory for those outside the Ohio Bobcat Radio network range.

Stoked for Rodrick! He hits a couple buckets and you could just see the weight lifted off his shoulders with his teammates cheering him on. That was sure good to see.

If Brod starts rolling, we now have 4 legit guys that can push 15-20 points a game. Throw in making our bench a little deeper as of late and we are starting to get things lined up for March.

As expectation rise for this team, you just get the feeling they are poised to embrace the challenge.

18-3, is this fun or what?!?!
