We're not shooting well and our margin feels razor thin when that happens. That's going to bite us on a night when our opponent IS shooting well.
Two points here: You're right, it 'feels' razor thin, but the reality is that it hasn't been so. Other than against Stetson, we have won every one of other games by 10 or more points. The feel and the reality have not gone hand-in-hand.
Secondly, I feel like the second comment, about it 'going to bite us' when our opponent shoots well makes it seem that the poor shooting our opponents are experiencing is just luck on our part. The truth is, our defense has appeared to be amazing so far, causing these poor shooting nights. Good thing is that defense is a lot less likely to slump, so this bodes well for us in the future. This assumes we don't run into refs that are looking to call every little touch.
