I counted at least 3 times where Ohio ballhandler had a wide open BRod behind the arc waiting for the pass only for the dribbler opting not to give it up. BVP a couple of times and Miles once. Passes they would have made last year or earlier this year. No confidence in his shot?
Why would they? It's essentially a turnover. Also BRod had his man beat baseline twice and instead of taking it to the rim aggressively kinda just tentatively slowed down and then passed. Both resulted in turnovers. Zero confidence in anything he's doing right now.

Can we just have Sam play in the 3 spot?? Why is he still in the dog house?

And if he's standing 20-plus feet from bucket unguarded it pretty much means it's 5 defending 4.

Don't forget we have Miles Brown on the floor too. So call it 5 defending 3.5. About sums up what our offense looks like right now.

Man oh man when Carter is scoring inside we're a different team. Like a good one.

If only this team could get 10-12 points from B-Rod on a regulars basis. Why didnt we sub at under 4 TO?

Then made it worse by coming back with "well maybe 6'5"

Dude was legit 6'7 and listed at 6'8.

But he "remembers him well". Sure.

The Ohio Buckeyes played well tonight according to the announcers.

What a victory, perhaps the last couple of weeks was some sort of toxic cleansing. With that out of our system, we can make the tournament run we always thought we could!

Maybe because the subs couldn't get a single rebound and the lead went from 21 to 11 in under a minute for starters? Yikes. With Ezuma fouled out that 2nd unit was..."lacking" underneath.

IJ Ezuma playing some defense
Boals must read the boards. Been begging for more mins from IJ.
Why -- more minutes?? So he can foul out yet again. He's a project for sure.

Hope that a lot of the second unit's issues are rust from lack of actual individual/group playing experience.
