Can't get a feel for what to expect tonight. I'm pretty confident we'll have recovered some energy after a brutal stretch and we've just owned BSU for a while now. Not so surprising as we've been the better team mostly, but still an uncanny stretch against them.

So... that said, Ball State is really really due against us and we haven't fared well against them in Cleveland. What's the line on this one? I would guess we're about a 3 point fave?

Truth. That's gotta be the real over/under for tonight. Rest says over. But first tourney game jitters in the Q seems like it tends to the under.

HOly hell. Kent looks like easy money, but hey it's Cleveland. Maybe miami will do one thing right for the first time in like 15 years and knock them off. Would be glorious. it wouldn't be that rare to see Miami outperform their seed at the very least.

While a very close game can easily end up in double figures late with freethrows and desperation misses, 8 seems like a really heavy line for us.

B-Rod again unplayable in first 13 minutes, hope that changes, but have a season of evidence to say it wont. Our feet look like they are in cement on both ends of the floor, so same crap we have seen for last two weeks.

We're so helter skelter on the offensive side. If Sears, BVP or Carter can't get a shot inside 15 feet we chuck up a three.

Well we got a lead finally. I attribute most of the run to block stops and energy Ezuma brought on D.

But man, our offense.

We look great last couple minutes only because the 3s we continue to chuck actually went down. But it's not like we magically started getting good looks. Yeesh.

I don't necessarily think a lot of them were bad looks. That one possession where Carter got 2 straight offensive rebounds we had great looks from 3 and couldn't make them. The continued regression in shooting percentages has been mind boggling.

His feet and hands are a work in progress (he's a freshman big at a mid major - thats fine) and he needed to dunk that look from BVP. But man, he actually brings energy on defense and the boards. That's worth 5-10 minutes a half to get Carter and BVP rest for sure.

In other news. We live and die by shooting the 3 and we're not a very good shooting team - so that's pretty cool.

Find a way to survive.

I counted at least 3 times where Ohio ballhandler had a wide open BRod behind the arc waiting for the pass only for the dribbler opting not to give it up. BVP a couple of times and Miles once. Passes they would have made last year or earlier this year. No confidence in his shot?
