With BVP out and Carter questionable (?) this is the Mark Sears show. This is the game that can put him back up there with Rollins in the POY race.

Must, must, must, have a good game tonight. More importantly, he must make good decisions with the basketball.
Confirmed that BVP is out? Haven't seen it officially anywhere.
I haven't seen confirmation but assuming so if he was in a boot last night. I was at the EMU game (missed the injury) but was able to see him off to the side with the trainer. He had a towel over his head for the most part before they decided to call it and get ice on it. His reaction made me think that he rolled it pretty good so I'd expect some significant swelling that would probably need to clear out.

There might be a chance that he tries to go but with the tournament a few weeks away, it would be a bold move to play him tonight IMO.

Potentially, but I'm betting on Clayton and IJ over him.

Nice. I'll be at the bottom of the O-Zone, potentially wearing a green head band if anyone wants to try and spot me "Where's Waldo" style.

Miami is playing maybe their best all season right now, with most of their injured players back I think.
I believe this is the second time this week that I've read this on BA and I'm not sure what this is based on. Miami had a nice game last Saturday, beating an average-at-best BG team, which came after a win v. WMU, which was winless in the MAC at the time. Prior to those two games? Miami had lost 5 straight. They have Delonte Brown back, one of their best players, and Beck has returned, giving them a big off the bench. Not sure 2 straight wins v. questionable opponents means the Redhawks are playing their best basketball of the season. Not after starting the year with 5 straight wins including one v. Ga Tech of the ACC.
Their game against BG was as far as I can tell their most complete dominant game of the season. That’s my take anyway

This would be a great night for Roderick to be the old BRod, not 2022 BRick.

I went there. Sorry, not sorry.

Oof. But it's true. Would love to see him have another 2/3 Eastern Mich game Brod.

Let's get healthy but it never gets old beating Miami. Too many memories of this rivalry, good and bad. For me, it's Devin Davis.

Looked him up, Director of Player Development for the Dayton Flyers. And according to his bio, he finished 3rd all time in points and rebounds during his time in Oxford.
And he deserves a spot on the all-time hairstyle team

BVP is participating in pre-game shoot around. I don’t notice a limp of any kind. I suppose he may not start (or play for that matter) but he’s out there.

Carter out according to Marty. Sounds like a rest and recover deal. BVP "good to go".

Not arguing with that synopsis but I look for a recharged Fiami team to come in here and Battle. Hate to say it but I am not feeling good about this one....

Any reason as to why Russ has used the phrase “legal defense” so many times in the first half?? Odd.

Yeah “legal defense” is way overused tonight.

But BVP… quickly becoming my favorite bobcat. What a save at the end of the half.
