This line is crazy to me given Central's improvement and our season-long offensive struggles.

Have to tie up Henderson and Miller especially. Crazy he leads the team in scoring - He's a frosh. Hope we can be loud tonight!!

Why hasn't Towns been getting any minutes the last few games?

What has happened to Sears? Playing reckless.

Schmock took 14 three pointers. That’s crazy. But none felt forced.

What more can we say about BVP. So fun.

Nice to see Towns on the court. Really need his length off the bench.

I said before ... a big part of what made last season special was being well rested and no nagging injuries going into the MAC Tournament.

Cats need to find their second wind going down the stretch.

Great atmosphere, well done Ozone you are growing and developing game by game.

Chase, way to lead all night and take control of WT/LT with the volume and intensity, looking forward to having you and yours in Cleveland.

BVP triple double with JP in the house, what can I say...just awesome. The Convo this season has been historically enjoyable with all the wins and watching the students come alive. Special season.

Thanks Grover! Was fun leading WT/LT tonight! Going to be bitter sweet on Friday. Hope we can show the nation our atmosphere!!

I don't agree if you're referring to tonight. I thought he played within himself for the most part and did a good job distributing. I don't think he forced very much and he looked for the open man.

I felt like he had a few bad possessions where he forced some bad shots early in the possession. I feel like he is probably difficult to coach when he's not playing well. Very stoic and uncommunicative on the bench. Looks like he has assistants that really need to talk him down from being angry. I've seen Boals challenge him several times this year when he's not playing well.

I am talking more overall about his play in the last couple of weeks. He just seems to be having great difficulty getting his shot off in the paint when he drives. He either gets tied up or loses control and forcing a real difficult shot or it gets blocked. You can tell he’s frustrated. Need him to find the mojo once March rolls around.

Mark is at his best when he is distributing. Look at our losses and you will see a ballstopper who is 1 on 1 based. Look at when we are rolling and you will see BVP as the main facilitator, hitting Sears on cuts. One thing Mark does not do well is drive and kick. We have some shooters so he has to trust them.

Problem is one of those shooters…Roderick…has been inexplicably non-existent from the three-point line this year. That’s one less guy to kick it out too because Roderick can’t hit that shot this season. Hope he finds some March magic. Next to McDay, Roderick’s outside shooting has been the biggest mystery of the season.

Shows what I know. Central shot so poorly that I'd say I've never seen worse -- except I was at Kent on Friday.

As far a Sears goes, defenses around the league have figured out his game so he needs to adjust. He will face constant ball pressure followed by double teams the rest of the way out. This leaves someone always open and Schmock was that guy last night. He and Sears are the only Bobcats shooting above 40% from deep so opponents don't seem to mind leaving someone open. Ohio has taken the most threes in the league yet is ninth is shooting percentage. That's one of many reasons it was so nice to see more action in the paint last night.

At this point I'm completely fine with letting Schmock run the entire game. If that means he eats some minutes from Sears, so be it.

Don't disagree about there being shooters on OUr team. But do we have some makers?

Roderick isn't even hitting free throws with any consistency of late.

Always great to see a good student section and great attendance overall for home games. Last night, like virtually every night of MAC basketball, Ohio had the largest crowd of any home games played in the league. While I'm upset that we only had 1 Saturday league game this year and 1 Saturday nonleague game, the fan base has continued to show up despite our sacrificing better attendance for TV exposure. It'd be nice if the league put a limit on the number of times a team can be "flexed" at home games to accommodate CBS or ESPN broadcasts. Maybe it's just me, but I suspect there are others who would prefer the same. While the TV exposure can be beneficial, there's always a chance it'll expose something like we witnessed last Friday at KSU as well. OK....rant over. Go Cats!

I think we've done an amazing job showing up considering this. Just look at the Toledo and Fiami games, awesome crowd and O-Zone! I've been keeping up with promoting games on social media and I think it's been helping a lot with getting kids to show up. Now to promote the heck out of Friday and Saturday's games. HUGE HUGE games.

+1 special season indeed, very happy for the students and old timers to get to experience a reenergized Convo

Let's get this ring and turn it up another level for next season.

Gut wrenching to see him go through this but I'm sure he will recover. We in the O-Zone have been supporting him no matter what happens. As for Mark, I have confidence he will further develop next year. This year was a huge learning experience for him and I think it's going to make him a better player next year. Yes, I see he has been frustrated but he will recover. Did a great job spotting the open man last night when Central was doubling him.
