This is going to be a rough one. I saw Breath in pictures from practice but not sure of his status along with Elliott and Conners. We need to pull the redshirt off of Fisher and get him some minutes here. Sheldon and Burris have shown they are not big-time guys. Sheldon is OUTSTANDING at the 8 to 10 minute burst where he flies around and creates havoc. He is a solid basketball player in that respect. But the fadeaway to the side 3-pointers HAVE TO STOP! And Burris, for all of his summer accolades, looks lost as Hell. Pull Fisher's redshirt and test him out. He was smooth for Picktown and played with several D-1 guys (who are coming to us). He physically is not big but there are a lot of skinny dudes who can play.

Putting Sheldon and Burris in the same rant is wild.

Burris is a freshman who has played a whopping two games, for a grand total of 21 minutes. 16 of those came in a 30 point beating to a great team on the road.

Sheldon has played 97 career games.

Does Fisher even have a redshirt? He played garbage time last game. I think you might be confusing 'redshirt' and not cracking the rotation.

Loooelvle is #9 in the overall KenPom rankings and #2 in Adjusted Offense.

They'll be riding high after their win over UK, so maybe we can catch them napping a bit, but Pat Kelsey is a helluva coach so not sure that will happen.

This actually might be a better matchup for Ohio than St. Mary's was. They don't have quite the size as the Gaels do, but they have the guards and the wings. Six players averaging double figures so far, which isn't unexpected considering in the three games they've scored 104, 106 and 96 respectively.

Ohio absolutely cannot run with this team. They'll have to play some ball control clock if they want a shot at winning. Breath and Simmons will need to have monster games in the paint.

Fisher played against Picktown (Central) twice a year but played with 2026 commits McKinney and Bowen at Reynoldsburg.

Does anyone have any experience streaming on The CW? Never heard of it until today, but apparently it's free (with ads) through the app and on their website.

The CW is great, and free over-the-air with an antenna too. It should also be on any live version streaming you might have (Hulu, YouTube, Sling, etc.). They had a so-so first year, but I've never had issues with their broadcast quality and the announcers are relatively biased.

The CW is what used to be the WB network.

If we lose by under 30 call it a success and get on the bus. Hopefully we get some nice $$ out of the trip.

My guess: The Brown Hotel ain't gonna be the only one serving up a Hot Brown in Louisville tonight.

Just focus on getting reps for the 5 man lineups that'll be relevant in MAC play, and don't revert to garbage time too soon just cause we're getting our asses kicked.

Wheeew! It didn't seem that long ago when our Cats play a P4 university we actually expected wins 20-25% of time. Now we are trying to stay within 30. Off the cliff man.

In fairness, Louisville is a top 10 team. Not just any ol P4 team.

The bettors certainly seem to agree with the pessimism…according to ESPN we are 30.5 point (!!!) underdogs. Not sure I’ve ever seen an OHIO game with a line that bad.

With our full roster healthy, I would be disappointed to lose by 30+ here. With 3 rotation players out, I honestly kind of expect it.

I feel your pain, man! When I was student at OHIO we reqularly played top 20 teams, and beat them a fair amount of the time. We played defending national champion Loyola at home and knocked Kentucky out of the NCAA tournament with a resounding 85-69 beat down. When I was in graduate school we beat four of the five Big Ten teams we played that year, including a home victory over Purdue with their big star Rick Mount, who I think was the leading scorer in the nation at the time.

And, in the more recent past we've beaten the likes of Georgetown, Virginia (twice), Michigan, etc.

Our basketball program is going to hell in a handbasket, and it's painful to see the slow decline into basketball obvilion. Some will blame the whole thing on NIL and revenue sharing, and that's certainly part of the issue, but I think the problem is more systemic than that. Even by MAC standards, we are sinking to a lower level each year.

I hope that I have come back at the end of the year and eat a full course of crow, as we take the MACC and get to the Sweet 16. But, right now, I think we are headed to a season that will be only eclipsed by the Wilderness Campaign of the Hunter Era.

Will be at the game - I’m an alum and our OU grad son lives in Louisville. Hoping for the best but… well,
we’ll see. Nice pubs around the Yum Center for post-game festivities.

Game isn't listed on my local Dayton CW channel. Tried the CW app and it isn't there either. Is it only Louisville CW or something??

Guess I'll just listen on the radio....

Edit: Nevermind, it's on the Dayton CW just wasn't listed on the guide.

This is embarassing to watch. Airball threes, dumb turnovers.

Not sure how we are only down by 12.

At least we have some athletes this year. Too bad they still can’t play defense. Looks like a 60 point half. And my favorite guard lane leave the three-point shooters wide open.

I keep hearing the Boals likes the team's shooting, and about how Sheldon shoots 50% from 3 in practice.

It seems like basically every team shoots well against our defense. Including our team in practice. Cause this isn't a good shooting team.

Defense is pretty rough. Can't even guard the pick and roll.

Also, prob not a good idea leaving McKneely wide open in the corner.
