Has the MAC rated as the #12 conference nationally (out of 32 conferences + independents). Describes MAC as, "Grown-man league always has teams that are old and tough."
Predicts Ohio to finish fifth in the conference, behind Toledo, Kent State, Akron, and Ball State (in that order).
Interestingly, has Eastern Michigan pegged to finish seventh, despite the addition of Emoni Bates. Personally, I'm super interested to watch some Eastern Michigan games to see what Bates and Farrakhan can do together.
Predicts Sincere Carry as the POY (no surprise there, really).
Predicts Dwight Wilson III as a second team all-conference player.
Predicted first-team all conference of Bates, Carry, Freeman, Shumate, and SParks.
Will Emoni Bates even play? The off court activity recently has me wondering.
I have a feeling he will. Am prepared to eat those words, however.

1. OUr depth is over-rated. Based solely on this board's yearly overestimation of OUr depth before fans observe Boals/Phillips/Christian/Groce/TOS settle on a tight rotation of 7/8 players.
Exactly. We are always 12 deep, SOLID, in the off-season.

From Blue Ribbon - "All four of Ohio's scholarship freshman figure to play sizeable roles. The only question is how sizeable they will be."

I am not sure I can remember a year where we started with 12 legit SOLID players. Always seems to me that we have been 8 or 9 maybe but I would really like to see which years we had a full team with SOLID talent going down to the end of the bench. (possibility I missed the sarcasm emoji)

No sarcasm. I leave that to BTC and OCF.
Comment based on yearly excitement on this board and its T-COM predecessor (who remembers that?), with posters calling on a 10-man rotation only to see the coach settle on a 7 or 8-man rotation. We'll see how this season plays out.

+1. But I hope this year is an exception. I like a deep bench.

I was responding to the DCF response

That's DFC. And I think you may have missed the sarcasm in my post.

That's what makes this year so special, instead of the 10-man rotation, we now have 12 studs! So many options!

Don't you mean a 13- or 14-man rotation when you consider our walk-ons?

Thought you were leaving the sarcasm to me? But, yes, seen at least two walk-ons get predicted PT on this board.
