Beat downs like that just don't happen to teams that are supposed to be top 100-125 clubs. Just today, a BGSU team projected by pretty much everyone to be much worse than us lost in East Lansing to a top 6 MSU team by 35. Hardly anything to write home about, but still 22 points less than we lost to Kansas on a neutral court!
Ha, I was at that game. BGSU benefited from a pretty cold shooting MSU team but it should be pointed out in addition to Flomo's point that not only did they lose by 35, they were only down 25-19 at half-time before MSU found its touch.
Agree totally; it's fine to get beaten, even badly, by a superior team but no one wants to get flat out embarrassed.
