I look for Ivo to come out with a shaved-head in the next few games as he leads us to a new level.

Take a gander over to the CMU boards if you want to see a total meltdown.  TOS was beloved in comparison to Zeigler.  This is his 5th season and he hasn't had one player stay four season according to their board.

Wonder if the inclement weather could cause a postponement of this game?

Yes, things have not gone well in the Zeigler regime in Mt. Pleasant.  It's surprising to a lot of people; he was highly touted as an up and coming coach when he was hired.

I believe they already postponed the Kent - WMU game.

Yes. Kent-WMU postponed. Sounds like Kent didn't leave town.

CMU site also says game will be postponed if school is closed Wednesday.

I read on the CMU site that the decision on the game will be made tomorrow afternoon, even though classes are cancelled.  Sounds like there may be conflicting info out there.

A postponement tomorrow would set up for a very quick turnaround Saturday.  If the game gets played Thursday night, that means the players won't be returning to campus until late that night/early Friday morning.  It could be very difficult for them to prepare for a Saturday afternoon game against Northern Illinois.

So...here's hoping the game doesn't get postponed!

I'm sure that general practice and the desires for campus safety say that the game should be postponed.

I'm sure that television partners wish the game to take place as scheduled.

Toledo-Buffalo was rescheduled for 2 PM Thursday. A similar rescheduling will result in similar attendance.

Teams are already there. Referees? I don't know their procedure.

I hate to be callous, but play the game and let OU go home as soon as weather permits. Offer admissions to future games for ticket holders that could not travel. You can win the PR battle if you get ahead of it.

I agree with Pete.  If the refs are there, let them play the game.  Do you think weather will matter to attendance at Central Michigan?

This is one we should win, even on the road. Central Michigan has been a major disappointment this year. Zeigler has been good, but not great, and he's not got much around him. The Chippewas struggle on offense. They are shooting 37.8 percent. 31.8 percent on 3-pointer and 61.5 percent at the line. In conference play, 3-point shooting is up a little but they are below 50 percent on free throws! Ken Pomeroy ranks them 332nd in offense in the country of 345 teams.

They have Zeigler (17.0 ppg) and Jalin Thomas (15.2 ppg). No one else averages more than 6. Zeigler and Thomas both are shooting 39 percent. They play the 2 and 3 for the Chipps. At point guard, Derek Jackson recently has taken over for Amir Rashid, who has been out the last few games. Jackson is 11 of 50 on 3s.

In the front court, they've got 6-9 Andre Coimbra and 6-7 wide-bodied William McClure. Coimbra actually is a decent shooter, but not much of a physical presence. McClure is a pretty good rebounder.

Antonio Weary and Finis Craddock are guards off the bench. Colin Voss is a 6-7 forward off the bench.

Central Michigan actually has played good defense this year. They create a lot of turnovers and don't give up many offensive boards. But they do foul quite a bit and allow teams to shoot relatively high percentages.

I'd like to see us feed the post again and maybe cause some foul trouble in there like we did against Ball State. Washington draws a lot of of fouls and he's been good recently. Let's keep that up. And hopefully Tommy and Cooper can have bigger games. Add in some good defense and we should come out on the positive side of this one.

Im excited to see Jalin Thomas play because i haven't seen him play since high school (we both went to Bloom Carroll). so I hope he has a good game, and the rest of his team play terrible and we win by 25......hopefully the game is played tonight.

This game was to be on TV, STO, however, DIRECTV has informed me that Central Michigan has blacked out this broadcast.
I find it hard to believe that it's not on even in Northern Ohio.
I would appreciate knowing if anyone else was able to view the game.

Life on the road in the MAC!  No ability to guard anyone.  DJ Cooper invisible again!  Coach with Deer in Headlights look again!  We are use to seeing this at home, but tonight we get the road version.
