Trying to buy my season tickets for Tuesday night.  Anyone know how to do it or do you have to call the ticket office to have them set you up with an account if you don't currently have one?

I would just call the ticket office.

The ath dept distributed post season applications a while back.  But I doubt if you'll have any problem at all.

We need to put these guys away as early as possible in order to give our starters some rest for Thursday, and not let Toledo cut the lead again in the second half like the first time we played.

My thought exactly, although it would great if DeVaughn joined DJ at the 1,000-point level Tuesday night.  DJ needs six and DeVaughn 25.

DJ needed six going into the Miami game.

Going into Tuesday, DJ has 1,008; DeVaughn has 987, and needs just 13 (which is quite close to his average per game).

I have to admit I'm dreading a 4000 person will-call line.

That's what I get for relying on info from Rivals.com, although I'm surprised nothing was mentioned about DJ passing 1,000 in the OU Athletics press release on the Fiami game.

I'm trying to avoid flashbacks to my senior year when we were a 5-seed and lost in the convo to a horrendous Central Michigan squad led by C-Webb's little brother.

How well I remember that...that was perhaps the ultimate debacle for Ohio basketball.  I remember Brandon Hunter didn't have much of a game at all.

After the game, Central coach Jay Smith commented that he knew his team had a chance because some of Ohio's players (I think he called out Sonny Johnson) were clowning around before the game, taking funny pictures, etc.

That will NOT happen with this team vs. Toledo.  They will come to play.

I just got the weekly email and it directed me to buy my seats (season ticket location) on line.  When I got to that spot because I've never set up or used an account it directed me to call the ticket office.  I did and in a matter of 90 seconds the transaction was complete.  The young man (I believe his name was Eric) handled it very professionally.  As for the ticket line, if you live in town you can pick up the tickets after noon tomorrow.   As for the 4000 person will call line, based on my experience at the GMAC bowl and the MAC championship game the year before last, these guys have it down pat and there was little to no waiting.  As an aside though, if there are multiple people in your group and one set of tickets, the only person who should get in line is the one whose name is actually on the order.  It's amazing how many times the entire group gets in line.

I spoke with Josh at the ticket office this morning and he said they would have multiple tables set up in the entry foyer handling the Will Call situation. I do not anticipate any problem with getting tickets tomorrow night in an orderly fashion. These guys have got their act together and are ready for it. I haven't had any trouble with their Will Call system at the bowl games or in Cleveland and I'm certain tomorrow night will flow very smoothly. Go Bobcats!!!

this might be a stupid question, but considering this is a MAC tourny event do students still get in for free?

Student tickets in Cleveland are $10 each, rather than the $32 for non-students.

Assuming you're talking about Tuesday, yes students are free. As mentioned above, students are ten in Cleveland for sessions we play in.

What's the word about getting cheap seats for the semis if we don't play? I have a room, so I intend on taking in the semis and championship regardless.

Problem with Groupon is that deal expires tonight - long before I'll know if we will play or not.

Also, it doesn't seem like THAT great of a deal. Lower bowl baseline is $17 retail already at the box office.

By the way, it appears that they're doing the losing lottery ticket for a ticket to the final promo again. Those, I'd have to guess, would be upper bowl.

I only remember 2 things about that game:

1. During the playing of the Star Spangled Banner, while the OHIO team stood individually facing the flag, the Central players stood with both arms draped around the waists of their teammates. They seemed like they were on a mission, and I got that sinking feeling.

2. We lost.
