Down 5 at the break.  I think we're lucky to be that close as everything seemed to break BSU's way.  That can't continue all night so it makes me feel good about the second half.

Berry has 16 points no one else on the team is doing much. If he cools down and we can contain him we might be able to gain some ground. Just have to play defense.

Ball State has gotten a few balls bounce their way, but a real key is BSU taking care of the rock. Only three turnovers and only one steal on our end. We need to force some turnovers in the second half and play some better D.

I didn't check any numbers, but we appeared to rebound quite well.  Unfortunately, we would then go launch a crappy shot.

Allie LaForce is doing a great job on the sidelines.  Easy on the eyes too.

well, that was a disappointing last 2:30 of regulation.  Hope they can shake it off for OT.

How many times has Washington failed to defend the dish off after guard penetration?  Six or seven by my count.

Absolutely gave that game away. Just really dumb decisions in the past 2.5 minutes.

Hence why I said Ohio needs to learn how to close teams out. Even a few baskets would've probably put Ball State away.

Pretty pathetic effort down the stretch.

Ivo played a great game and then had the easiest rebound of his life and he tipped it directly to the BSU player for what really put the game away.

Most of which are on Cooper. Never seen so many bad shots by him in one game.

Also, Kellogg has to be hurt much worse then it was let on. He was a complete non-factor on both sides of the ball (aside from his hoop in OT). The Cats were playing 4-on-5 with him out there.

.500 coaches lose these games.  What a joke.  Sorry, 9 pt lead with 2 something left and we can't close.  Thank you seniors!  Good Luck!   Just a poor effort all around on the bench tonight!  John Groce needs to look in the  mirror on this one.  Just a joke tonight!

While this team got hot down the stretch, it lost too many close ones when it lead.  Sorry, there was no go to guy who you could count on when you needed it.   No magic this time around.  I hope you can sleep better than I will be able to.

I think Kent St. just won the MAc Tourney.

Disappointed that the guys went out like that.

Did the cameras catch Nick after his shot went up?  Because that was shameful.

At least we won't have to look at any ridiculous "Groce to" threads any time soon.

BTW, Balls is going to get absolutely worked by Geno and the Golden Showers.

The better and smarter team won. I lost count of the 3 pt continuation plays Ball was racking up. Grudgingly, ref made the correct call regarding the Kellogg charge in OT (although never should have came to that).

I think the boys were thinking Kent State with 2:42 to go.
One of the worst losses in school history.

Well at least Miami lost.

"The guys" have no one to blame for this one but themselves.  This game was lost by OHIO, NOT won by Balls!  Good teams do not give up 9 point leads with less than three to play.  End of story and season.
