If we were in Marshall's shoes and had gotten snubbed by the NIT, we'd by absolutely furious.

Clarkbar:  I notice that Marshall tends to play to the level of the competition it faces.  Several teams in CUSA have lower RPIs than Ohio, and I notice that Marshall struggled with some of them.  So, even though your team might be "stacked", this game won't necessarily be a mismatch.

Go Ohio!

The only way I can tell Marshall people from Temple people nowadays is that the Temple people wear feather boas and the Marshall people wear cow hats. Otherwise, they're all pretty much the same thing, aren't they?

Except you all beat Temple in football... you don't beat us.

I have a "hating respect" of Marshall.  Temple I just despise.

As a reprise (try to look that one up Marshall grads), if you attend a chapel service at Marshall do you have to bring your own snakes?

And how do you get a Marshall grad off your porch?  Throw the possum back on the road.

Can we get that in graph form?  Thanks.

Sure... Want me to compare Ohio in there too, to see where they match up?

Why are you all so upset?

Other than busing down to Huntington to go out in the first round of this &^%*hole of a tournament, I would imagine you all should be more than grateful you aren't playing Wisconsin-Milwaukee or something.

Oh. OK.

 This game won't be close.

It was.

And who was on the right side of the close game?

I'll give you a hint, it wasn't The Herd.

Should we introduce this community college to the SCOREBOARD?

Talk is cheap girls.

We not only got the win, but we saved $31,000.00 and the :Turds: lost $31,000.00.  That make this win even better.

I looked at the final stats and from what I can see the RPI contributed nothing tonight for Marshall. Must have been injured or something.   Games played on the court Marshall fans and not in the computer rankings.   BTW, when was the last time Marshall did anything in basketball?  Mid 80's with "Huck's (NCAA probation) Herd"?  Another question, how many NCAA, Pre-Season NIT, Post season  NIT and CIT games has Ohio played (and won) since Marshall last sniffed any basketball success?  Go away Herd fans and come back when your basketball program actually does something.

Ohio had 2 home games that drew more that 9100 this year, including one that comes to mind in which we had over 10,400 so we are not impressed.

Which is more than Marshall could fit in their facilities(Capacity 9048)  if they sold tickets to the parking lot ala SuperBowl.

I'm gonna go ahead and guess we won't see you until the next football game rolls around, then you'll disappear after we beat you in that, too.

Even given my Marshall connections, I find this one kind of funny.  Good job stubhub.

To run your mouth for two days and then not even show up when you're wrong, that is as lame as it gets.  Why am I not surprised?

That's the thing.  This was one of the best seasons ever for Marshall.  Think about that. This was a somewhat disappointing year for us.  How much must that suck...for them.

Results so far for the MAC and CUSA:

MAC (3-0)
Ohio wins at Marshall 65-64
Buffalo wins on the road at Quinnipiac 75-68
Kent State wins on the road at St. Mary's 71-70

CUSA (0-4)
UAB gets crushed by Clemson 70-52. Never was a game
UTEP gets clubbed at New Mexico 69-57
Marshall loses at home to Ohio 65-64.
East Carolina loses at home to Jacksonville 71-66

How can we even hope to compete with the juggernaut that is CUSA?
