Again, the mail has come and gone and I still do not have my tickets.  I live in Athens County, BTW.  I must be really far down on that excel sheet.

BL, if you know anything about modern database programs (excel is a spreadsheet), you'd know that it very easy to create a field for "spouse" or "significant other" and to create two different name printouts from the same record in the database.  It's NOT rocket science.  And, for your information, I've noticed that other spouses in the Rohr Room have their name -- not their spouse's name -- on their hang tags.  No it's not that big a deal, it's just another small indication that our ticket office/OBC is sometimes the gang that can't shoot straight.  I think it's time that you graduated from Excel for DOS!

Edit: Those women who have their own names on their hang tags probably give at BL's level rather than the paltry Captain level that I give at.  As a retired one-time YAPPY (Young Appalachian Professional Person) that's about the limit of what I can afford.  BL probably has an OBC red hotline phone sitting on this desk.)

FYI - I called the ticket office, and mine hadn't even been mailed out yet.  They weren't going to be mailed before Monday, either.  They offered to set them aside so that I could drive down to Convo and pick them up.  I did that.

The saga continues............

Opportunity to increase my donation level by making monthly contributions instead of one big annual chunk? GREAT - I'm In! And Did - By Phone (sure could not find a way to do that online - even though the option is mentioned on all the plethora of solicitation communications).

So guess what - they are charging my card the Monthly donation now - WEEKLY!!!!!

Obviously, that's a you problem.

You must be a mega-pain in the arse.

The nerve of you, coming on here with such a trivial complaint.

I haven't experienced this problem, so you must be preternaturally disposed to pitch a bitch.

I'll assume that is Love directed sarcasm as is virtually line by line quotes :)

FYI - I REALLY don't enjoy feeling I that I should continue to add to this "complaint" thread - but just like a string of games w/coaching or player patterns of "ineptness" - the thread (or similiar subject based thread) typically does not die until there is a resolve!

Yes, truth is I support your right to pitch a bitch. It's exceptionally incompetent to draw from your account four times more often than you agreed to!

And until I spend the time calling and seeing why/what is going on - it could be set up to that also meaning four times the $ - not chump change.

I am absolutely enamoured of a board that has any post requiring the use of a word like preternatural and that the author does not catch a ration of hoo ha from the constituency

I was impressed with the use of the term, therefore the "virtually line by line" quote reference.

Oh, and BTW, Hoo-ha correctly spelled w/a hyphen..... :)

Well - the good news is.....After 20 minutes on the phone (during work time of course) - it seems to be all fixed. Correct parking pass should be in the mail ("Oh.. you're right, it should be Blue Lot".......fingers crossed). Issue of two different cards being charged, and weekly instead of monthly now fixed ("not sure why that happened" - after on hold for quite a bit....."it should be fixed now".....fingers double crossed). I mentioned the online reg format does not make it easy to make all the choices you have options for in place, on one page, tickets, Bobcat Club Levels, payment options, etc. Reply was (to the effect of) "We have been trying to get "them" to improve the online process". OK - Thanks! Ready to roll, hope I never have to ever think about this again, let alone feel I have to get on here and jibber jabber 'bout it!

I received an email yesterday about my tickets:

If you are receiving this email, your men’s basketball season tickets are currently at the Ohio Athletic Ticket office and can be picked up at tonight’s game if you attend. If you do not pick them up, they will be mailed out first thing tomorrow morning so that you will have them in hand for Sunday’s first regular season home game. The tickets arrived last Wednesday and we chose not to mail them just in case they did not arrive to you by tonight’s game. Thanks for your understanding in this matter. Go Bobcats!!

I guess mine are in the mail today.

Perhaps the ticket office needs custom software written to fit their needs? The question is, if it was designed for them exclusively, would they use it if it was free? (there's a reason I'm asking this, I'm just curious as to whether or not any of you know the answer).
