I thought I heard John Groce say on his radio show that NI agreed to come on opening weekend next season.
I heard the same, but was thinking it was Portland. Can't remember for sure.

News from Panther Nation forum - Jake Koch was in sweats tonight gametime - went home before game ended. Some heard he "was not feeling well". Hmmm......

From Panther Nation:

Coach said in pre-game that Jake was under the weather. I'm thinking that if this was the Ohio game he maybe would have played and taken tomorrow off, but who knows. Nice to not have to play him tonight if he is not feeling well, though.

We played a DIII school tonight as a rescheduled game.  There really wasn't any reason to play him.  He looked fine when I saw him tonight.  Who knows tho.

Does anybody know if we get a guaranteed home game with Northern Iowa next season?

I think it's two seasons from now.

Arkley tweeted that the return trip is in two years (2013-14).

Shame. UNI will have an experienced team next year that would be a great boost to SOS.

UNI Fan here in peace. I'm amped for this game and so is the rest of PantherNation. Don't let one guys rant about attendance during winter break, against a DIII school, with a highly hyped game the very next day, make you believe there is little interest. He went on a rant before taking in all the facts. While attendance will be much higher tonight, don't expect a sold out crowd and a hostile environment; the students are gone for break. Should be a great game featuring two solid teams.

I was about to post a similar response.  The attendance last night wasn't surprising considering everything else going on right now. Students gone, week of Christmas, back-to-back games with a much more interesting opponent the next night.

How much does McLeod Center hold?

Anyone know why there is no radio link on ohiobobcats.com?  There is a hyperlink on the game article but only a link to the women's game against Syracuse on the Game Central site.

No Direct TV
No ESPN3
Then finally this morning, no www.firstrowsports.tv which lists like every big and obscure game of the day.

Not meant to be, unless someone's got a password/username to the Horizen League telecast?

Russ & Rob---you're all we got tonight!!

Hope it's not a sell out.  I'm driving up without a ticket.

Man I want to win this one.  I agree the winner could be headed to the top 25.  10-1 with 3 home games left before starting MAC play?  Yes please.

Link is up to our radio broadcast at ohiobobcats.com.

Ruck:  Word is that UNI's version of McKinney was really talking up Loras last night.

No talk about OHIO yet on their fan forum. Doubt if will happen, but maybe we can catch them a bit off guard. Not much time for the travel and to prepare for this big game - but love the momentum going into it!

That is a really dead board....especially when compared to my favorite, the most  schizo board in all of D1 ball, shockernet.net just on the other side of the Valley.  They wanted to delete a thread because it was put up before the Loras game was concluded and it was not the official thread.....eeesh we would not have anything left in here with those attitudes.
