Dumb. The MAC should bail on ESPN and sign a deal with Barstool to stream everything.
I've often thought it would be a good move for Netflix to sign streaming deals with conferences or specific teams, especially in the NIL era.

YouTube... seems like an easy one, they already own YouTubeTV... Google money could put ESPN+ to shame.

There are few true avenues to subscriber growth.. Netflix, YouTube, Apple I'm available for consultancy...

I was not expecting them to hang in there with Akron on the road, but I am really frustrated with that technical. Ohio was playing well and that technical completely flipped the game on its head. Boals needs to be smarter and better with handling a situation like this.

True this. DW3 is losing the post battle. We have been out talented and outcoached.
Maybe all the freshman will develop, maybe they'll all stay, maybe we'll get some better transfers... maybe I'll eat my hat in two years... but I think we can add... painfully out-recruited.

After the T, I believe it was a 25-10 run to close half. Well done.

Tired of losing to top three teams on the road in league by 10+ points.

And there hasn’t been enough talk about this. Clayton has been god awful. I wouldn’t even play him. So passive on both ends.

I am so happy i didn't go the JAR this year. It is a difficult pill to swallow knowing we will be in the lower tier of the MAC this year. It would be different if we had Sears, and or BVP. On a bright note IMO. I like the investment the coaching staff in with bringing in Frosh talent , and other contributors. However unfortunately I will keep rooting and cheering, with my hands in my pockets, at times. Not yet wearing a decompressed old basketball on my head this year.

Games are now won and lost at the three-point line. They’re out scoring is 21 to 9. That’s 12 of the 17 point deficit.

100% agree with this^. Clayton has been the most disappointing part about this team this year. He has become dormant on offense and takes bad shots early in the shot clock.

I didn't necessarily see a beat down, but a team shooting 23 of 33 (field and FT combined) in the first half will do that. We can start trying to play defense on the road any day now. We haven't yet.

Anyone who doesn't understand defense (and rebounding) are this teams biggest issues isn't paying attention.

That being said, pretty sure most expected an L today, and 3-5 isn't the end of the world. Again, look at the upcoming schedule. We'll be picked to lose exactly 1 remaining league game (Kent). 11-7 or 12-6 isn't "bottom pack of the MAC". Not by a long shot.

Call me when we're a 5 seed in Cleveland, after we win a first round game.

Then call me again when the board melts down when we get blown out by Kent in the semis. It is what it is.

Clayton is just too determined to be a 3 point specialist at all costs.

James kickstart a run with a blocked and an assist and we pull to within 11 and Groce calls time out. I text my Ohio buddy and say Boals will take out James during this time out. And sure enough James is out. Why is he doing this with constant rotation shuffling??? Especially with James getting active on both ends? It’s ridiculous.
