OhioMensBBall sent out a tweet around 4:30pm today that read: "Big MBB announcement coming at 11 a.m.tomorrow!!! Stay tuned..."

Anyone have any ideas as to what the announcement is all about? I guess i can just wait until tomorrow but im curious...

Interesting.  I would think it has to be fairly exciting for it to warrant an announcement and announcement of the forthcoming announcement.  Maybe ESPN picked up one of our games?  I'm sure anorris has the inside scoop.

If not the Miami game then perhaps the Kent St. game or even Akron.


I'm answering out of ignorance however as I have no idea if either of those games are slated on ESPN already.

I was on campus today and stopped by the Convo to wish everyone in the Athletic Department Merry Christmas before heading back to my office.  Either Jim Schaus has an awesome poker face, or it's not a huge development.  If it was anything major, I think there would have been a lot more buzz.  Nobody even told me to make sure I was glued to the website tomorrow.

Then here it is...Jim Schaus has been playing the lottery and has won the mega-millions (I really have no clue when that is, just going off a limb) and has decided to donate the entire amount to athletics.  We will never have to worry about losing Groce or any coach after Solich if he proves to be awesome.  This will translate into achieving the next level and thus securing a position as the next top team in Ohio.

I was just thinking that (and was at the WSU game while admiring theirs), but thought I read on here by some supposed expert that it would be impossible due to structure limitations of the Convo.
