SOOO.....I guess the "resume builder" question was in reference to the team and this season. Man did that train run off the track! (Maybe there was something "transitive" about the query?)

LOL...some funny stuff on the board tonight.

Alright. I'll put on my green and white blinders and concede. I'm in a good mood this evening after watching Miami get waxed.

I apologize and will gladly admit that OU could hang with the school up 33 that shall not be named. We should probably be ranked in the top 10. There. Now we can all be happy as Bobcat fans that our hated rival Miami lost yet again.

And even more good news. Using the transitive property (got it right this time), we can conclude something that we can all be happy about! Since we know that we are almost just as good as tOSU, and tOSU just smashed Miami, we know we should beat Miami twice by no less than 25 points in both of our meetings. This news should make us all very happy as we enjoy our holiday season:) Merry Christmas!

God forbid OSU not be deemed as always dominate.  So, how do you answer my statements?

Agree on all counts, although, I'll glady take pure dominance from both schools.

No, you and I disagree - without Sullinger - we hang very close and you never know - pull out a few wins.  With Sullinger - we hang close per the comparison with Lamar and Wright State -- OSU games that included Sullinger.

I think we all know that the transitive property doesn't work in sports.  Temple beat Ball State 42-0.  We lost to Ball State by 3.  So by your logic, we should lost to Temple by 11 TDs.  I don't recall it going down that way . . .

We have a nice team, which features zero players who will be lottery picks in the NBA.  OSU has 2 guys who should be in the NBA already and another one who will go, and 4 McDs All American freshman sitting on the bench who barely play.  We would be overmatched.  Don't let Wright State and Lamar comparisons fool you.

We're hoping we can go 12-4 in MAC play.  OSU might not lose 4 games all year in a much better conference.

Since you think that the jr institution in columbus is the best thing ever, that none of our players could possibly play for them, and that they should have an NBA franchise          why don't you go their way and leave us rational and O-H-I-O fans alone.

I'm sure they have a ton of boards and threads which will more than take up your free time.

Monroe, feel free to direct me to the post where I stated none of our players could play for OSU. One of our players already has played for TOSU and I would take Cooper any day of the week over Craft, at least offensively.

There are many words one could use to describe you, Monroe. 'Rational' is far from one of them.

My friend What, let me introduce you to my pal Ever.

You may now return to your columbus dominated world.

It would make me infinitely happy if any Ohio team beat THE. Even if that team was our hated rival.

Is THE OHIO University the last Buckeye State team to beat A&M?  I think the answer is yes, in the pre-NIT first round game, but I'm not sure.

Almost positive OSU lost to Toledo at Savage in 1999 the year they went to the final four

Hmm . . . I do remember them losing to UT, but I had thought it was earlier.  I'm sure someone will post something based on fact rather than memory.

I remember clearly that Toledo in the mid-70s was the school ended Indiana's long winning streak the year after IU won the national championship.

I think BG beat them later the same year we beat then in the pre-nit. I do remember the toledo win as well. That s certainly the most recent.
