His tweets are awesome too.  Liberals probably want to stay away, but this libertarian leaning independent can't get enough.

Would you say you're watching him?

LOL!

I actually love, "Oh baby, what a big time play!"  He doesn't really do it that much.

Everyone knows I am over 45.

You're probably right; I probably listen to the highlights more often and hear it then as those are indeed big time plays.  Let me reinforce that I LOVE the broadcasts.

Tie-dye shirt, same jeans and new socks.

Memorial Day to Labor Day - white shoes and belts work.  December 30th in Ohio, a cream colored jacket doesn't.  Even Martha "jail bird" Stewart will tell you that.

There was some on air speculation that with the unseasonable warmth today Labor Day shouldn't be a hard/fast rule.

After suffering through Warren I got to say I love RUss and Rob . I listen to a lot of games from HS to Pro while tavelling and may have 4 or 5 games I am following at a time but I do like OUr guys. From The coaches shows to the on air stuff they are some of the best.

Acquired taste for some ( a rare club that only a few belong to) but that is OK when you really think about all that they give you. BTW, Russ is always looking to improve and takes constructive criticism incredibly well and does so with great aplomb and proefessionalism.  We could do a lot worse but I can say as long as those guys are here I will continue to find them no matter where I am . Russ' knowlwedge of Hooop is really good and his respect for the game and the historical figures that make it what it is is not lost on him. His association with the MAC from childhood is a glue that binds the old fogies around here to the younger guys who are part of the "what have you done for me lately " group of fans with short memories.

Cawood, Morrie and our own indiana Pacers guy SLick Leonard each have personalities that their loyal followings whave loved for years .....\Russ and ROb are making theirs now ...we are fdortunate. That said if the time comes when they find greeener pastures I am a big fan of our other home grown guys and loved listening to them in the past filling in and doing the Lady Cats games.

Borna summed up my feelings perfectly

As a broadcaster myself, I can't even begin to say how much I enjoy the broadcasts with Russ & Rob. They're incredibly well prepared, and inject the right amount of fun into the game to enhance it and not distract from it.

GQ and Esquire have each printed articles in the past year or so saying that this rule regarding white is outdated.  It was 60 degrees yesterday.  A light colored suit works just fine.

Maybe over in "leisure suit land" where you live.  Couldn't resist Aaron - you opened the door a bit too wide.

Agree with Borna and Noonan. The broadcasts are outstanding. Sometimes I even listen to archived broadcasts while doing routine tasks.

I don't worry so much about his tweeting as I do a Guy who takes the time to create a whole new ANONYMOUS account solely for the purpose of racking on the Guy because the intellectual discussion from your side has clearly left the proverbial building

Russ gave a shout out to BobcatAttack following the what are you wearing segment, saying that we loved it.  As much as I loved the attempt to stick it to the original whiny poster, it came across as everyone here was attacking him.  I know thats not what he meant though, and its not like he could call the guy out by name.

I thought it was funny. I think he was just calling out the fact that we had this now-two-page-long thread about it.

As far as I'm concerned, anything that helps paint a visual of the atmosphere through the radio is cool.
