- I thought Baltic actually did ok in this game. He certainly exceeded my expectations as I thought Zeke would handle him underneath (which, he actually did). Kudos to Ivo for bringing Zeke away from the hoop and taking away his defensive advantage. Now, he shot two 3s. He doesn't need to bring him that far away from the hoop. IMO, he shouldn't take another 3 ever.
Fun fact -- Ivo is actually our third-best three point shooter by % this season at 36.4%. Yes, 4-11 is a small sample size, and I agree he should largely be playing a bit closer in, but I don't neccesarily think he should
never take the shot if it is open.
- Does anyone think they have the MAC figured out? I know I don't. Akron has a leg up right now, but both of their road wins have been to the two teams I think finish at the bottom of the East. I think the East comes down to who handles the West best. I like how this sets up for us. I still see no clear-cut favorite though. Gonna be fun.
I think this has been the case since I started following Ohio five years ago. The MAC is schizophrenic.
