I average 41 in our Smart Car.  With an 8 gallon tank, I've never spent more than $30 to fill it up.

Not sure I wanna do Muncie to the MAC sites in a smart car. I 'll pay the extra or ride the bike.....sposed to be 50 tomorrow....may need to burnup some road over to Ada and then BG.

I do Columbus all the time in it but I really prefer South Beach in May and June with the top down.

Maybe some of you have a point about West Virginia TV stations covering Athens relatively well.

WSAZ Channel 3 is among the news outlets covering OU's deputy police chief being placed on administrative leave pending an investigation for unspecified, alleged wrongdoing:

www.wsaz.com/news/headlines/Ohio_University_Police_Chief_Deputy_on_Administrative_Leave_136760338.html

The Athens Messenger broke the story in its Thursday print edition.

The Post and the Athens News were beaten by the Messenger and by TV news from 75 miles away. Amazing that two out of three Athens newspapers didn't even manage to get a brief on their Web sites this afternoon.

Also,  to the university for not issuing a news release about this when it happened on December 8.

To the credit of the A-News (and back to the orginal thread topic), they did publish a decent article today about the cable station switch:

Good article, articulates some of the details, particularly about the timing, very well.  That explains why this is happening now, when I was certain we'd moved years ago.

So, now The Post has gotten into the game a day late on the OUPD suspension story.

Here's the kicker - they're calling their online version of their lifted, tiny article a "Web exclusive"!

Web exclusive just means that it's not in the print edition.

Dispatch weighs in.

TW in Newark, for comparison's sake, carries all local Columbus stations plus Zanesville's NBC affiliate.
