Any updated news on tickets sold or remaining for this game?

E-mail yesterday said that less than 2,300 of promotional tickets remain.

That's a little short of the sellout they were hoping for.

They still have time to sell more, plus the tickets you'll sell when Dads come into town and buy day of.  But yeah when you started out with 5000 promotional tickets and you sell 1500 day one, its kind of disappointing to still have 2300 left.

We'll certainly have at least 12k in the Convo, and that is exciting.  One way to ensure a sellout would be to beat Akron & kent between now and then.

Sargent is right.  The walk-up dad crowd will be large.  The clueless students that typically don't come to games but will that weekend have probably not even thought about buying tickets for their dad's yet . . .

No doubt in my mind that there will be 12,000+ in the house for this one. There are people going to this game that I didn't know cared one lick about basketball. The Athletic Dept. is putting on an absolute full-court press to sell it out, and I think they're doing a pretty nice job. This will be a game to remember.

Speaking of Charlie, this will probably be his last visit to the Convo, would be cool if the Ozone didn't something subtle like get a bunch of guys to wear green mock turtlenecks and grey suit jackets or something as a tip of the cap to a worthy adversary.

All $6 and $12 tickets are SOLD OUT!

So theoretically if we sell out all of the $20 gameday tickets (which I think we will because of Dad's Weekend) and we don't sell anymore $1 or $3 tickets, we should have around 10,000 at the convo.

crossing my fingers for a sellout.

EDIT: Ohiobobcats.com has the source.

I asked at the ticket table tonight - they said less than 1,000 tics left. After tonight's result - I think sell out is inevitable, though I was dissapointed in turnout tonight - ?
