Steve Mix is also of the belief that certain Bobcat players (DJ, TJ) could be a little more judicious when it comes to three-point attempts. Too many and too early in the shot clock, for example. While not a big fan of Mix and realizing it is only one person's opinion, it does come from someone with more NBA experience than the combined experience of everyone on this board (unless Nick's dad belongs to BA). In other words, don't confuse this complaint as being DJ- or TJ-hating.

After 5 min of half 2 the game may have gotten worse. Maybe fewer fouls at least.

Somebody tell the cameraman to zoom out some, so we can at least see where Cooper is shooting from.  Sheesh.  That's all I have to say.

They both have shot too damn many.  If that's hating, then someone just can't handle the truth.  And the truth is some of these guys fall in love with shots from 20 feet plus.  We've been winning with getting to the line, rebounding and defense.  Suddenly let's decide to go back to run down and chuck it.  For what it's worth, Mix is annoying in my opinion.  Reghi is one of the best I get to listen to on TV, but his partner gets annoying.

Reghi's, um, grasp of the English language is comical.  Tonight's word: "Theftist."  I assume he meant thief.  Also, worst rug on TV.

DJ is 4-9 from 3 at this point.  I'll take that every game of the year from any of our players.

4-10. And situational decision making on three-four of those shots was just horrible.  Sorry to be a hater.  DJ used to take other teams out of the game. Now he gets them back in it.

That's all I'm saying...bad shot selection is his MO.  Just like that shot with a minute to go.....unbelievably bad choice.

I think I can come up with a half that tops yours.

We need DJ creating open shots, and that doesn't mean putting up 25 footers with 30 seconds on the shot clock after an offensive rebound.  Oh well, a win is a win.   Shake it off.  On to Testicular Tech!

Akron-Miami at the tournament last year, for instance.

Without DJ we lose this game. Period.

Offut on the bench with fouls, Kellogg ice cold, Ivo seemed bothered by the zone and lost some agressiveness, Keely couldn't stop from jumping into guys, TJ another 0-for the game.

Ricardo was great, Jon Smith also played well, but neither guy is an offensive threat.

When I say ugly, it wasn't just the teams fault. This was a regulation game that took 2 and half hours!!!  The refs have to share in the blame for the disgusting pace and lack of flow tonight. Did the whistle blow every freaking time they exhaled in the first half?

Maybe it's just an observation with too small a sample, but does it seem like DJ's shooting percentage from outside is WAY better when he's in a catch and shoot situation than the typical crossover and jack it?

No doubt, DCF. Reminds me of 70 years ago when I coached middle school basketball and there was a whistle every 10 seconds.

Ricardo had 9 pts, 7 boards.  Don't see anything wrong with that.

I'm not complaining about a win and a 16-4 record.  Here's my concern however:  DJ isn't getting many assists lately.  Only 7 team assists tonight total.

John made some great points though postgame:  We struggled with the zone, killed them when they played man.  He also mentioned they rarley play zone at WMU.  We lost the rebounding battle by a big margin.  That hurts in a big way, and we've won the rebounding battle in the current win streak up until tonight.

I feel like WMU is often involved in foulfests.

The fact that the clock kept stopping probably had some to do with that. I hope that is fixed before Saturday.
