Sound like a total TV nerd, but whoever the A1 is on this game is doin a nice job. Crowd, students, and 110 sound great!
I only know A1 when its on my steak but I agree, the Convo looks great! The center court logo, the white towels, the 110, the students, the size of the crowd, the arena itself, it all looks really good. And the shot of a snow covered alumni gate has me really missing Athens right now. go bobcats!
Haha A1 is the primary audio mixer on a show (A2 would be an assistant). I know we often complain about getting the fifth string, but even on a busy Saturday, this has been a solid broadcast.
It's funny - I was at the game, and I DVR'ed and then went home and watched a little on Sunday morning. The broadcast probably made the crowd noise sound far better than it really was.
Another game when we didn't play/shoot particularly well, and still win. Good teams do that. That, like Groce said in his post game presser, is one we would have lost last season.
I hope we can lose the shooting funk before tourney time, but it's nice to get these last few wins while we wait for that to happen.

I felt like this game and the Western game were almost the same game. We beat Ball U by more than ten if free throws get made, and again, a few more of those missed layups get made. Make the easy shots and the number of misses from distance isn't as amplified. At least we're getting to the line more than was happening in late December and early January. Now it's time to start making free throws.
I want to complain, but hey, 17-4 is a nice thing to be able to say. I'm pretty sure I've never said "Ohio is 17-4" until this year.
