Yes, it's too bad that the Oscars and the NBA All-Star game are the same day. (Isn't the NBA game on at a different time/in the afternoon...I doubt that they want to compete with the statuette.) And the Oscars typically draw massive viewership, though I bet descending over time because they moved the ceremony to Sunday from Monday, where it was functionally a holiday, something people really looked forward to and planned for...instead of, now, just a somewhat stand-out program on the night before the drudge work week begins again.
That said, I earned my bona fides by repeatedly, incesseantly, annoyingly posting that mid-week ESPN games for football would be/were genius even if they made games difficult to attend for people who live more than, say, 30 miles from Athens.
So now, having my M.O. (Master of the ObviOUs), I bring you: DON'T BE AN IDIOT. SUNDAY NIGHT NATIONAL TV COMING TO YOU FROM THE CONVO IS ABOUT PERFECT. Yes, it will be difficult to attend the game unless you live near Athens, given that it's a school night. Otherwise, the game itself should be terrific--'kron playing really good ball and yOUr OHIO BOBCATS not backing down from anyone.
CONVO GONN' BE CRRRRAZZZZZZZZZZY!!!
Simply, this is how you build a program.
How can anyone think that there is anything bad about this. Oh. No. Sorry, we don't want our game to be on national TV. If you were in a business and your decision in this situation was 'no,' you would be deserving of being fired.
