Now that there's a break in the action, let's turn to the soon to be world famous "What are They Wearing" feature of your message board.

"As it's casual Friday and a warm one at that, I have on a long sleeved, patterned corduroy shirt - dark green backgound with blue and white squares, accented by "oh so right" off-white buttons.  Bottom half is tan khakis, unfortunately, pleated,no cuff and stylish in their own way, contrasting belt cinched tight to show off my vanishing waistline and emphasize my abs with matching brown leather oxfords and de riguer over the calf hosiery.  My glasses are squared and narrow."

Thanks to our sponsor, the "New to You" clothing store on W Fifith Avenue.

Just what everyone wanted to read, right?

"I'm sporting my All Blacks jersey over top my blue jeans with brown shoes and argyle socks.  I think the All Blacks jersey is particularly slimming in my completely delusional mental body image."

I also grow weary of the journalism angle being used to critique our broadcast team.  I view them as entertainers, not journalists.  In today's world of media choices, people reporting what is going on need to be interesting.  Merely being informative is no longer good enough because the information is already available form many other sources.  I think a large part of our message board has no sense of humor and is way too critical of everything around them.

We lead the league in attendance and folks complain about the numbers not being accurate.  We have the best gameday atmosphere in the league and folks complain about all the promotions.  We have a team that is 18-4 and folks complain about the way they win.
We have the best broadcast team in the league and someone goes to another team's message board and outs Rob C. for not being liked because of a funny twitter post.  Does anyone really take a die hard NIU basketball fan seriously anyway?  This is ridiculous.  I hope Russ and Rob don't change a thing.

Thank you for saying this.  Some of the negativity can be really annoying.  We are, after all, "supporters" of OUr team, school, and athletic department right?

No kidding.

Anyone remember Warren Swain? How soon we forget(Leon Washington).

Some people will moan about anything.

I'm sitting here reading this thread wearing my black warmups -- which double as my PJs.   They are solid black with three white stripes down the sides of the legs and arms.  These high-power in-your-face PJs were purchased at TJ Max in Parkersburg, West ByGosh Virginia, who is tonight's sponsor of the ever popular what-are-you-wearing-to-bed segment..

I've always wondered what 3-Ball would say to the 'What Are They Wearing' segment...

Carhart jeans, flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off, Git 'Er Done ball cap.

That's my guess.

He was sick.  I don't think it had anything to do with Russ' mom's meatloaf dinner at NIU.

En route and part way north tonight.....joining the Family in time for shoot-around tomorrow midday.

Russ' Mom's meatloaf not at fault in my weekend gastrointestinal health.

The meatloaf just kept coming........one loaf seemingly begat tens more. It was truly the New Testament application of delicious meatloaf and potatoes. Also, windmills were visible.

See, I think you can take the joke in 3-4 directions here. Like when Peter & Brian are trying to decide what to do with Greg Louganis snark.
