That technical couldn't have come at a better time.

And Keely's technical was flat out stupid. He fouls out with almost 5 minutes to play after Smith already fouled out.

Luckily it appears it may not have an impact on the outcome thanks to a great game from Offutt.

With Johnson out tonight Hall stepped up nicely with 9 rebounds.

Only 7 turnovers. That's just fantastic.

Walt Offutt stepped up big tonight. His shot is starting to fall. We will be a dangerous team if he continues to play like that.

All I can say is...wow...what a great team effort...solid win...might be one of the best if not the best win of the season to date.

Gotta love..if not kinda chuckle at the never say die attitude of the beefs...down double digits and less than 10 seconds left and still fouling....(and yes..that's a little sarcasm there).

A fun game to watch.

There's just something about that arena that brings out the best in Ohio's offense. The Bobcats seem to light it up every time they're up there.

Offut and Kellog are the keys to this team.  They struggle, we lose and look ugly and blame Cooper.  They hit shots, and we are tough to handle.

This^

Both need to keep being aggressive. I've noticed that if Offut floats forward on his threes, which is kind of unusual, he makes them. If he goes straight up he misses.

Yes - so much so he looks out of balance - really spreads his legs, front leg toward the basket - sure like the result though!

I was there. GREAT game. Horrible time getting out of the parking lot (would you believe it took me 20 minutes to get out of there AFTER getting to my car 20 minutes after the end of the game?!?)

I saw a lot to like tonight: Most obviously, it was a win on the road against a team that played us close in January and was ahead of us in the standings. 2nd, our shots were dropping. I know, I know, that kind of thing can be hit or miss, but it was SOOOO nice that we were lighting up the scoreboard for the only game I'm going to get to see in person this year. 3rd, and I think most critically, UB went on a couple runs (for instance, to open the 2nd half) where they had a chance to take control of the game/open up some space on us, but each time it happened we buckled down and fought back.

A question for anyone else who was at the game: WTF was up with the random student dance team..."eclectic beat" or something like that?

Hurt his back in practice. Not sure how long he's out.

I don't know why, but we always seem to be able to win in Buffalo. It's a nice one to have in the pocket.

In basketball. We have developed a disturbing tendency to drop football games in Amherst that we should win comfortably...like this past year.

Yes, well, I don't care about football, so it doesn't bother me.

To quote Turd Ferguson, "No, it's correct."
