FYI Bobcatattackers, Green Fever shirts and packages for the Akron game are now available.  The shirts and packages for the Football Blackout sold out, so we wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to get a package early.  As in past years, the package includes the official Green Fever shirt as well as a coupon book for local businesses.

Yesterday I loaded my online cart with packages for myself and Mrs. BCB (takes two complete cycles to do that, BTW) and both times when I went to the payment screen, my order disappeared and I was sent back to the start with an empty cart.  At that point I had to return to my job.  No Green Fever for us!

I hope mine was a local firewall issue because they won't sell out if you're counting on online sales using that method.

Ordered mine online and will be wearing it here in DC while I watch the Cats take down Akron on TV.

Wish I could be there!

Can't imagine it will be much of a crowd...Sunday at 8:00 is a terrible time for those with a family. We'll be counting on the students to bring it, hopefully!

My 14 yr old will be there as usual - and sleep in the car on trip back to Columbus...........

I remember going to Cincy Reds games w/my dad on school nights when I was a kid - and we had an hour drive back home after the games (and I usually nodded off after 10 minutes of the drive). Now That's Family!

Wish, wish, wish I could make it, but I'm going to be spending some family time in South Carolina.  I will admit, I'm quite pleased this is gonna be on TV on the U for me to watch.  I'm adding to the attendance - or keeping it up anyway - by giving away my tickets.  They were easy to unload too!

I'm in plus 2 ... one of whom is an 11 year old with school the next morning.

Maybe that makes me a bad influence, but I'm pretty sure he'd rather go to a ball game than stay home and watch the Oscars.

It is a terrible time for me...But I'll be there and my 3 & 5 year old probably won't fall asleep until about Lancaster at 11 pm and they'll be up at 7 am to get ready for preschool.  I'll get to bed at midnight and be up at 6.  It sucks, but not as much as missing the game would suck.  Now that the 3 year old got to meet his obsession DJ Cooper, he wouldn't let me miss it.

I think we'll be pleasantly surprised with at least 8k.

I think we'll have an interested, but probably not huge, crowd.

I'm going to go out there and expect a solid 7k there.

I am well aware that I am more than likely going to be totally wrong, but just in case attendance is a surprise, I can have that "I told you so" moment.

9K "announced" - At Least.

Let'see how good the marketing folks, Groce's & teams rallying skills, as well G&W Club, Bobcat Club, Shaus, and US/BA'ers really are!

The Proof will be in the Sunday Attendance Pudding!

Can we get 10K+?

The Voice said on the radio tonight "folks, tape the Oscars because you can catch them later.  This team deserves to get your backing for Green Fever."  Well, that's not an exact quote but you get the picture.

I'm guessing a solid 8,000.  Hopefully our marketing dept. markets the hell out of this game and we can draw ~10,000.  I doubt we draw 10, but it's possible.

Interesting, fun game. Sunday  But win at Kent is bigger than beating Akron at home - in trying to get #2 seed.  We beat Kent and Miami, but lose to Akron, we still get #2 seed if Akron beats buffalo next week.  We lose to Kent it goes to further tie-breakers

Wish I could be there.  I'm betting this is the best crowd from the starting line in years.  If we're in it at the end, then the best line to line crowd for a good while.  (I don't mean biggest crowd; I mean the most excited and into the game.)

GO BOBCATS!!!!!

Yeah - can't wait to see coach telling the team that on the next All-In episode - Are You Nuts? This is defeatist thinking.

What a foolish response. Sorry to offend you with facts.  Where am I stating the players approach it that way?  Where am I saying the coaches should coach in such a way?  Simple fact is a win over Akron and a loss at Kent puts us into a different set of tie-breakers and requires both Buffalo AND Kent to lose somewhere else.  Equate this to magic number time in baseball.  "Hey, we win two of our last 6 we win the division.  Yeah - can't wait to see coach telling the team that on the next All-In episode - Are You Nuts? This is defeatist thinking.  We need to win all 6!"

In our case, we win all three - we get a top two seed - top seed if Akron losses out (no indication of that...but).  We win two of three? -- we are in much better shape if one of those wins is against Kent.

Here is a question...What would the attendance have been if it remained Saturday afternoon?  In lieu of the big Buffalo win and hold on the 2 seed, I think we would have pressed about 12k.
