Does anyone know why as the higher seed we get a worse time slot on Thursday? Makes absolutely no sense.

Bottom half of the bracket is the later time slot every night at the Q. The 1/4 side of the bracket plays the 7 p.m. slot every night, while the 2/3 side gets all the 9:30 games. There was no real consideration given to top seeds or teams that are bigger draws this year.

The 1 seed gets the 7:00 spot, and the bracket was built around that to keep layoff times consistent for opponents (save the final).

Plus, since tickets are sold in 2 game blocks and this tournament now only has an evening session each night, they're probably hoping many will be there for both games.

That would be nice, as it would mean Charlie would get two more wins before meeting his nemesis.

Miami will give Toledo a tough game. Toledo's young. Big game. Expected to win. Could come out tight.

I think BG and Toledo are the 2 surprises of the MAC this year. I think we see the winner of these 2...I'm going to guess BG.  Hopefully they match up for a 4 OT thriller between the NW Ohio rivals, NE Ohio rivals for OCF.

I think EMU will make it through to play Kent.

I think Toledo blows out Miami.  I really don't love being on Toledo or BG's side of the bracket.

Wheels are flying off left and right in Toledo right now for Miami. Although I respect his courage, Mavunga should really not be out on the floor right now.

....2pt game, they aren't dead yet.

Toledo-CMU is the nightcap game tonight, and Ohio plays the winner.  I say we root for CMU.  If you look at Toledo's last 7 or 8 games, they've positively been on a roll.  Rian Pearson is emerging as perhaps the next NBA draft choice out of this league.

Surprisingly, Toledo is only a 2 1/2 pt favorite.

Will be interesting to see how Toledo's talented but young players handle playing in a conference tournament at the Q.

NIU vs. Western in the first game.

I agree with you Jeff.  I'd rather see OUr guys play CMU.  Either way though, I have a lot of confidence in this team right now.

Being that I live outside Ohio I will only be able to get the game via ESPN Full Court, which as we all know costs.

Since it's an STO game, I would think it would be available on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app. And if you have the right cable provider, that's free.

This is the response I

Odds tonight

NIU
WMU - 9.5

CMU
UT -3.5

Thought the Toledo line would be bigger. It's actually moving in the other direction.  Several Casinos have it down to -2.5.

Yup, ESPN3 and mac-sports.com.  Though I'm not certain with mac-sports if you'll get the STO broadcast or the scoreboard feed.
