I say let the players decide. If they feel a little more bada$$ in black, then let's wear black. Whatever gets them feeling comfortable.

And hey, black is a trendy color... maybe recruits and kids watching at home will like OU a bit more.

Nothing wrong with the green, though, if that's how they go. Fun for us to debate a bit, too. We're surely giving it more thought than the team is.

You know you really make it so easy, even if my youngest daughter graduated from UMich with a four-year scholarship in Engineering.  BTW, I asked her who she was rooting for and she said, "I'll be happy regardless of who wins the game."  Obviously, I'm a failure as a father!

we'll wear the green on friday for St Patrick's Day, the black on sunday to remind Temple of the blackout, and new powder blue ones that we'll call Ohio Blue just to piss off the tar heels.

I still don't think Temple is anything close to a lock.

Hey Croc Wolf, don't worry about when black became our color.  If you would even care, black has sort of been there as an outline color so we can wear black uni's if we want to.  Just because your athletic dept isn't smart enough to think of this, why ask us these questions.  I may be wrong but didn't I see black uni's for Michigan at some point?

If you can't be civil why even post?

The guy asked a legitimate question.

Ask yourself how you'd feel if you asked a similar question on an opponent's board and received such a snippy reply.

To the guy asking the question ---- not all Bobcats have such a cranky attitude.

Although I love the black jerseys.....I would rather see Green.
I must admit though, The black has much more of a 'bad*ssness' to it.

ErocWolverine welcome to the board. I am looking forward to a good game this Friday.
Good luck to you and
your team. Will you be in attendance?

Sorry didn't see your question earlier was trying to skip over some of the comment ;)

No I won't be in attendance because of work and also the $$$$ for the trip on such short notice. Also I am going to the Michigan Hockey CCHA Championship game "hopefully" tomorrow at "The Joe" in Detroit if they beat Bowling Green tonight.

Busy night for me tonight actually got the DVR set to record the Michigan Basketball game along with the Michigan Hockey game and will be flipping back and forth trying to watch them all and catch up to them both before the end. Think I can do it, but will be exhausting and tiresome. I love this time of year and hate it as well with the "one and done" type of format for college hockey and college basketball in tournaments.

Thanks for asking!

No problem I am use to it by fans. Been on message board for along time.

Thanks!!

One of our writers for our site actually graduated and played baseball at Ohio University in 1970 I believe.

Are we wearing white against South Florida as a higher seeded team?  Not sure of the actual Seed # for USF.

In all seriousness I agree we let players decide. In all sarcasm I like blue and white as alternates in the future, as a throwback to original school colors. For today our softball team is wearing shamrock socks and I think Ohio should do the same tomorrow. Next season let's consider paw print shorts like Cincinnati's hideous striped shorts.

LOL I heard we only brought our Green and Black Jerseys, plus with USF being the higher seed they would wear their lighter color.

USF is a 12 seed, Ohio is a 13.

I don't know if the Bobcats will be in green or black, but USF will definitely be dressed as the home team.

I was confused about their "seed" since I thought they had an extra "Play In" game!

I know one thing, I will be wearing the same gametime outfit and will wear the same green tie I wore for my meetings yesterday afternoon when I go to church tomorrow!  Might go to both the early and late service.
