I just want it to be a good game. Heading up with a Kent friend to see this. I have been wholly disappointed in my other trips to Kant. Always good to get some Ray's but their crappy high school gym has not been kind to us over the years. I just hope we split the last two to finish 18-13 and 10-8. Considering the start to our season and MAC year that would be ok to me.

Makes sense that this reads like a prayer because I think a supernatural power will be required for this team to win there.

The way this year started out, 18-13 would be an astonishing finish IMO.

I don't hold out much hope for us beating the Golden Flushes, but if we play at the top of our game, like we did against Michigan, we might have a slim chance. I hate to cite a loss as our best game, but in my mind, except for a few miscues, it was our best effort of the year.

Kind of a weird feeling heading into this one. Nobody really thinking we have a chance. It appears it will all come down to beating Bowling Green to lock up 5th.

+1 but crazy things have happened here in the MAC. Just crossing my fingers it isn't like the Ping pickup game we had there last year.

My heart says Bobcats +8 but my brain says Kent -8. Playing @ Kent hasn't bode us well in any sport and sadly, I don't see how this one is much different.

Last win @ Kent was '13-14 where we won a thriller, 59-53...

We like to talk about road games at BG being a quagmire, but playing at Kent is pretty bad too. Ohio hasn't won on the road at Kent since Jim Christian was coach (he was 2-0 there!) and have only won four games total since the turn of the century.

The difference is that Kent State has been an excellent program for years while losing at BG is often a pathetic failure.

I'd say we are overdue! I hope we take the right approach and go for the kill but I think its Kent that comes into this one looking to make a statement before the tournament.

I could see a scenario where we sneak out with a win but its gotta be an ugly, low-scoring game like it was 10 years ago.

Heads up to anyone going, the KSU ticketing system is down due to their vendor having a problem so it will be a very painful and slow process to get in if you bought tickets in advance, as well as gate sales. Leave some extra time and have patience.

Upon closer look I am not sure I see Wiz on the bench?
